    The Space:

    Located within the family-friendly Angel Fire Resort, this home makes it convenient to make mountain memories. Take in the fresh air on a huge deck where you can watch sunsets and local wildlife roam. When you're ready for a dose of outdoor adventure, drive mere minutes to reach premier ski slopes in the winter and scenic hiking and mountain biking trails in the warmer months. You'll also enjoy convenient access to golf, tennis, and lake fishing.



    Vaulted ceilings soar in the main living area of the home. Large windows invite in picturesque mountain views as you relax around the stone gas fireplace and watch your favorite TV shows. Prepare home-cooked meals in the well-equipped kitchen or fire up the gas grill for a cookout with your crew. When it's time to eat, you'll find plenty of room to dine between the kitchen bar and the adjacent table. An additional table in the main living area offers an ideal spot to catch sunrises with your morning cup of coffee or play games in the evening hours.

The entire experience was super easy to navigate. Casa Nido was exceptionally clean, lots of small attention to detail, loved the large yard, having meals outside, beautiful views during sunrise and sunset.

We had a wonderful week at this lovely El Prado home. The master bed was so comfortable…the kitchen was small but beautifully appointed and allowed us to cook great meals…our dog loved the big fenced yard…and we loved evenings in the hot tub and relaxed in front of the chiminea. We hope to return soon!

Beautiful open space layout that still feels cozy. Off the beaten path but still close to the main road. It makes for a nice base camp for activities in the area but equally great to stay in as well!

So beautiful and quite. There was a large yard and beautiful views. The house was cozy and comfortable. The beds were nice. The appliances were retro and cute. I loved everything about this home. Would recommend.

Wonderful getaway

What a lovely house for a getaway. We needed a few days out of the city and had the most enjoyable stay at this house. The kitchen was very well appointed, the house was very comfortable and the hot tub was perfect! I would absolutely stay here again!

Another great visit at Casa Nido!

What a treat - always great to visit this sweet spot in Taos and had our best ski days of the season nearby at Taos Ski Valley. The hot tub apres ski & restaurants nearby make life easy. We will definitely be back!

Lovely home in El Prado near Taos

This is one of the most well-appointed VRBOs I’ve stayed in. Thoughtful touches and amenities, comfy beds, washer/dryer, hot tub stargazing, pantry staples, ample space, and a fenced yard for your pooch. Beautiful desert and Mountain views!

Casa Nido was Perfect for us Texans !

We love Casa Nido we couldn’t have been happier with the choice of this home to stay for our getaway it was perfect for us ! We will definitely be staying here again for some summer fun and definitely be back For the winter next year to do Some snow boarding the hot tub and yard for our dog was beyond perfect for us ! We loved the layout of the home as well as all the furnishings very cozy place to stay !

Great privacy, amenities—they’ve thought of everything

This place is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Great views! We loved having the extra space and they provided every amenity we could imagine. The bed was super comfortable. And we loved having the hot tub.

Casa Nido is a dream

Gorgeous and comfortable home! They've included very thoughtful amenities. My dog was able to enjoy the fully fenced property. We were the perfect distance from the center of town and felt like we could relax and unwind with ease.

Perfect mountain getaway

Nice tucked away mountain home for rest and relaxation. We enjoyed the hot tub and roasting s'mores on the chiminea after hiking. This is exactly what we needed to recharge!

We loved our stay at Casa Nido! The home and yard were both beautiful and the space was very comfortable. Loved the amount of spaces to relax and hang out around the home. We watched an incredible lightning storm in the mountains from the patio. The location was perfect!

Great outdoor space

The inside is nice too but the outdoor areas are the best part -- shaded seating and dining table, fireplace with seating, hot tub, and the view of the mountains. Sited at the foot of Blueberry Hill, the location is quiet and yet convenient to town and also to Arroyo Seco. This was our 5th visit to Taos in the past 8 yrs and we would rate this house first of the 4 houses we have rented.

Taos Ski Getaway

Home was very well appointed, clean and modern. Perfect size for two couples and an incredible mountain view from the hot tub after a day on the slopes. Great El Prado location just north and convenient to Taos and a 30 minute drive to the Ski Valley. The ski valley is nice but small and we prefer to stay closer to town where there are more food options. Casa Nido was a great find and we would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful property near Taos

This was a great place for our family to stay. It has lots of natural light with a great view of the mountains. Lots of outdoor seating areas to take in the views. The hot tub and chimenea were easy to use. The kitchen is small and not really set up for real cooking, but nicely equipped otherwise. The house is just a few minutes from Taos proper and a short drive to the ski valley and Rio Grande Gorge. We would definitely stay here again.

Loved Casa Nido!

Great modern and stylish adobe home with amazing mountain views. Less than a half hour drive to the ski valley and a short drive to the plaza and awesome local restaurants. We loved sitting by the fire in the evening watching the sunset and the hot tub was so relaxing after a day on the slopes. The kitchen was great and the studio/work space was a great bonus for my remote work day. Truly a gem with the best New Mexico vibes. We’ll be back!

Perfect getaway

This rental exceeded our expectations. It was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The decor was beautiful but also very comfortable. Hot tub was great after a day of exploring with nice mountain views and lots of stars out on clear nights. Only about 20 mins to the ski valley and very close to all Taos activities. We loved how dog friendly the house and town was. Entire yard is fenced for pups. We would recommend this rental and hope to return ourselves one day!

Insta Worthy Stay

The atmosphere, decor & over all vibe of this property was absolutely 5 stars. It made me feel like we were in a private casita in an upscale resort hotel. Tons of natural light and had a very open/airy feel to the whole home. The kitchenware was top notch - it was really nice cooking with solid pots and pans and having very nice cutlery, glasses and plates to use during our stay. The outside area was well equipped with places to lounge around drink coffee, read a book or watch the sunset. Enjoyed seeing little friends like bunnies hop around at dusk. I liked that this was located a little outside of town so we were not caught in the traffic from town center but not too far away that it felt like a pain to drive to get coffee. One thing that made this stay frustrating was the lack of air conditioning. There is a stand alone mobile unit that’s connected to the entry room to move out the hot air & blow in some cool air but that only cooled the living area. They unit that can be plugged into the master bedroom just blew out air like a fan and did very little to cool the area down. Obviously we traveled in the height of summer but leaving the windows open at night in an area that my husband and I do not know very well did make us very uncomfortable. It was over all a nice stay & I did like the turn table that we could connect our Bluetooth to and listen to music throughout the day.
