The stay was very nice. The weather was perfect. It would be super if there was a little Fireplace spot, either propane or wood, instead of a small table on the concrete landing.

A feast for your eyes!

The craftsmanship of this house is amazing combining stone, wood, tile, metal and pebbles into a true work of art! This beautiful “castle” is a must stay for anyone who loves spectacular views, lots of room to roam, a great kitchen and a peaceful setting! We truly enjoyed our mountain getaway!

The Woodland Castle

The home was beautiful, exactly as pictured. Well stocked kitchen, including spices. The perfect home for our big family. Also very easy to get to with no worries about the driveway with snow fall. Our host was so responsive and helpful.

This is our second year of using this property for a Halloween murder mystery gathering and the house is the best character in the game. It sleeps all five couples comfortably where everyone has their own room and bathroom. The kids love the bunk beds. The views are amazing. The game room is a great place to watch football and have a drink. I loved the video games and my daughter loved the puzzles. The instructions are clear and getting in and out was super easy. Be back soon!

Annual family ski trip

The house is beautiful and spacious! We had a variety of ages and this house was perfect for all. We never felt crowded and everyone was entertained. Would highly recommend this house to anyone. Oh and we had mule deer walk right up to us in the yard!

Summer Family Fun

Beauftiful and unique home that was fun to explore. You have to see it for yiurself, pictures do not capture the artful design and beautiful stonework. Tons of space and storage, amazing furniture, appointments and stone work. Gorgeous views of pines, aspens, and mountains. The neighborhood was quiet and the yard was spacious. The kitchen was well stocked and large enough for several cooks. We ended uo cooking more than we planned due to the limited dining optuons in Angel Fire for a group of 16. Our 3 generations had plenty of space and enjoyed all of them! We spent most of our time on the balcony enjoying the views and wildlife.

Loved the castle!

We loved our stay here. It was very fun and different. Felt very much like a castle. The deck was wonderful and we took advantage of the game room. The living room was very comfy for 10 people! Loved the big bedrooms and fun bathrooms. Our only complaint is that the beds did not have fitted sheets and the sheets felt too small for the beds, so we were constantly pulling them over during the night to cover the mattress pad. Also the one king bedroom on the main floor does not have an ensuite bathroom. Would be nice to even put a pocket door between the bedroom and bathroom for more privacy,

Beautiful, Unique House

This is a huge, beautiful home with many unique finishes. The views of the mountains was amazing off the back deck. The location is great, close to town and across the main highway from a fun little lake. The house was well stocked with games and puzzles. We did have a small problem getting some items like towels for the hot tub and propane for the outdoor fireplace, but the management company did end up bringing them out. There were a couple items that needed maintenance in the house but these did not impact our stay. Also, the main master bedroom has a very squeaky floor that bothered the bedroom below. But overall, the house was very comfortable for our group of eight adults and four kids.

Woodcastle offers a bit of everything

Wonderful home with unique mountain/ castle design- Two gaming areas, oversized bedrooms, fantastic view, equal distance to Taos and Red River. Beautiful home that I'm surprised they are willing to rent. It would be nice if the property management had a more modern way to access keys/ check in, and would be beneficial if they put an * or $ amount next to hot tub every time it's written. But those issues are minimal. As soon as I let them know I was interested in the hot tub they had someone there in minutes. Can't say enough about the response time. Would strongly encourage for a family gathering where you want the complete package.

Family vacation

Amazing home lots of room to roam. Our only complaints were they asked not to wear shoes in the house but the kids kept getting splinter in there feet. Also the deck was beautiful but we couldn’t use it because it was covered in snow and ice.

Close to ski resort

There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking essentials. Very well maintained. We had deer come up every evening. Nice, quit location. Beautiful views from the balcony.

Fantastic Stay

We really enjoyed our stay. We had plenty of room for all of us and it was a short drive to the slopes. We had an issue with the plumbing in one of the bathrooms but it was very quickly fixed! We would definitely recommend this place for a large group.
