Elk

We were there to handle business on a property the next street over. It worked for what we were doing, but I expected it to be in a little better condition for that area. The furniture on the decks was dirty. The seats and the cushions were full of pollen and dirt from the trees we had to clean those to sit on them. There was cobwebs throughout the house. And big ones within the windowsills. We even killed a spider. We would drop something on the floor and pick it up and there were slight dog hairs. The pillows were very hard and uncomfortable and when getting into the beds, there was a hair.

Property was fine for our stay. Only thing would be the ceiling fan/light fixture in living room had cobwebs on it. One spider dropped down on us at one point. I would recommend the light fixture be swept. Otherwise a nice stay at this property.

Perfect getaway

Angel fire is such a beautiful and quiet place to escape in for the winter. The furnace in the house will keep you nice and toasty regardless of the extremely cold nights.We cooked the entire week and the kitchen was stocked with all the essentials to make anything. Overall it was a great stay, we enjoyed the house. The dog area outside was a great addition for our pup.

Practically perfect

The management company (Resort Properties of Angel Fire) did a super job. They stayed in contact with information regarding booking, payment, arrival, and departure instructions. By far the best we've ever used. The cabin was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Beds were great. Wildlife viewing from the patio was amazing. Best part was how dog friendly it was. It even had a fenced dog run and gates on the deck so we could relax and not have to keep our dog on a leash. Can't wait to return.

Outstanding!

We had a great time at the cabin. It was very, clean and well stocked. The location was fantastic with close proximity to hiking trails and we had daily visits from deer. I would highly recommend this rental.

I loved the cabin. It was the most beautiful cabin I’ve ever been in.

I wouldn’t have chose another house in Angel fire if I could it was the funniest place there was firewood for when I was cold. There was a washing machine when I needed to wash my clothes. The place was absolutely beautiful and it had cable TV for at night when we were just relaxing, so it was just the most enjoyable day I’ve ever had an angel fire.

Pres weekend ski trip

Overall good. Property needs some maintenance. Heater broke while we were there, had to go buy batteries for remotes. Needs tools for wood burning stove. Note says dont throw ashes outside but no explanation on where or how to take them out.

Home away from Home

We wanted to take our family away but feel at home. It was accomplished in this beautiful home. It was a great location, beautiful place and it had everything we needed for our family fun!

Mini vacation

The house is very nice but the cleanliness of the home was not great the house smelled old and musty there was cob web dust on entire living room ceiling and the fans are thick with dust and dust build up was on all the heater vents the heater filter was black and looked like it hadn't been changed in a year the kitchen table is breaking at both ends you cant pull out one end because it hits the fire place hearth if you pull the table out it blocks movement from the living room to the kitchen there was mold build up on the plastic shower curtain in the master bath no instructions on how to operate the tv if you can tolorate the smell its an ok rental

Pretty good experience

Overall we had a good experience. The location was perfect less than 10 min from Angel fire and about 50 minutes from Taos Ski Valley. Check in and check out were a breeze. We ran out of toilet paper and someone brought us more with extra goodies like chips and salsa, chapstick and a beanie. That was super nice. My only suggestion is that the cabin gets dusted a bit more. Lots of spider webs on celing and even on stair case. Also I could tell the quilts on the bed were not washed because they did not smell clean and had dog hair all over them. They also need to upgrade their electrical. I think it also would’ve been nice to have a Christmas tree in the cabin given that we are staying during Christmas. We had to leave ours behind because it did not fit in our truck.

Weekend away

We had a great weekend! The property is really clean with very nice updates. We loved the kitchen and living room lay out. We took the bucket chairs down to the lake and relaxed all day. The propane tank was unfortunately empty but we were able to convert our grilling plans to indoor. Was a very nice weekend and we definitely plan to return!

Perfect for Small Family Gathering

We came up for Thanksgiving (8 of us) and we absolutely loved it. The house had everything we needed, and perfect amount of space. The location couldn't be better. We will be back!

Not what I wanted at all

House was not as clean as advertised. Living room rug was worn and dirty, cobwebs in windows and on light fixtures. View from deck was awful. There was a dog pen right off the front deck, a stack of wood and a large garbage container in the front right off the deck! Of course the pictures did not show these things. I’m sorry but I would not stay at this house again. I should have researched better!

Birthday Getaway

The only thing is that the check time in is too late and checkout out time is too early. By the time you check in, you pay for two days but only enjoy one full day.

Close to Lake

Nice deck on the front porch for grilling. Close to Lake which we loved since we fished everyday. Also a short drive to Golf course. Peaceful neighborhood....and a great gathering place with family.
