Good hotel but not maintained well
I had booked 2 rooms at OYO rooms Anjuna beach from 23 Jan to 25 Jan 2016 for 6 people well 3 months in advance. The name of the hotel was Whispering woods. On reaching the hotel on 23 Jan I was told by the hotel staff that we have been allotted rooms at some other location, the reason provided was that since 2 rooms are booked and the rooms are not adjacent to each other the shifting is being done. After having conversation with the executive of OYO helpline I was told by the executive that he cannot help us with the same and we have to shift to other location, which was not acceptable to us since we had made full payment for stay at the hotel. Me and my friends were adamant for staying at same place. After wasting about an hour with the hotel staff for the rooms we were allotted rooms at the hotel.
Of the 2 rooms allotted to us the condition of one of the room was good but the other room was not up to the mark. The fittings in the other room were not working properly and the room was stinking.
The rooms were not cleaned properly. Even after making several service request it was not attended. The request was finally attended when complaint was made at the reception in front of other guest.
Food at the hotel was good but not many options were available.
