First the price was really high for what we got. They added a lot of fees that were not present when I agreed to the terms. I paid as much as if we had stayed for the Michigan v Ohio State Game. We agreed to be out Friday morning so they could book at the higher price for the game. Additionally the description states it holds up to 12. There is no way. The upper bedroom that has two beds in the description only has one. The bunk room is as described. The pull out couch can’t be pulled out in the room it is in. The beds are terribly uncomfortable. The shower stays hot for 2.5 showers (very quick showers), then it is warm and then cold if you need more than 4. These were very quick showers. There is a very unwelcoming noise notice. We were a family of 5 - not at all a large group or a roudy group. The notice says the neighbors will report you if you are loud and you will be out and loose your security deposit - that was ridiculously large. So we were overly paranoid. We paid to bring our 6 pound dog and got charged a very large pet fee. That fee was added after we booked. We understood there would be. Fee but not one that large. Overall the place is not comfortable and is highly overpriced. We have stayed in many VRBOs and never left a bad review.

We planned an alumni weekend with my college teammates and were thrilled to all stay together in this house. We had 9 women and found the space of four bedrooms and two bathrooms comfortable and adequate for our group. If you’re traveling with a larger party, there’s an additional rental attached to the house that you can book as well, which is a great option.As someone who runs a rental property myself, I know what to look for and they did a great job. The unit was impressively clean, which I really appreciated. The only minor issue was slight musty smell when we first walked in, which is common in humid areas. Once we aired it out and lowered the AC, it was totally fine.The kitchen was fully equipped, which was a big bonus for me. I loved being able to cook breakfast for everyone each morning. I searched high and low for a rental that would suit our needs, and I’m so pleased we landed on this one.Location-wise, we wanted something quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of Main Street, and this place delivered. It was still within walking distance to Main Street and other spots, which was perfect. One morning we even ran up to campus and back, which was refreshing and added to the charm of the stay. All in all, we were very happy with our experience. One thing to keep in mind: while 9 people fit comfortably, we all agreed it would’ve felt tight with 12. I’d say 10 adults max is ideal for this space. If you have kids, then 12 would likely be fine.

We liked the location and the hosts were responsive to questions and suggestions for improvements, which is saying something!.We enjoyed Ann Arbor and each other but had lovely weather so spent little time in the unit itself. There were 6 of us and at times we had 4 cars (we convened from all directions) and parking was ample and worked well.

Just what we needed

Perfect place for our home base for family to celebrate a UofM grad. Very comfortable and well-appointed. Location, amenities and host communication were all top-notch. The place is charming, and there were many thoughtful little touches to keep us comfortable. We would highly recommend .
