A bit of old florida

Great property consisting of several cottages reminiscent of old Florida steps from the beach. Very attractive rooms, mine was recently remodeled, with a covered front porch and furniture. A delightful way to spend a week at the beach.

The property is next to the beach ! It is perfect ! The manager was so nice and let us check in early since we had an early flight it was so appreciated. They have plenty of bikes , beach chairs , umbrellas and even sand toys available for free. Really enjoyed our stay.

Very cute property!

We had a great weekend here. The whole property is super cute and so conveniently located. It was a two minute walk to the beach down a beautiful path and only five minutes from the downtown area. A golf cart is definitely a must too. It was clean and cozy, great for a couple. Our unit was the bottom unit of a two-story building. The only thing I could say that wasn’t amazing was the sound barrier between upstairs and downstairs. But we are early risers, so it didn’t matter that much. A very cute little space for a couple people.

Great Location & Amenities

PROS: Great location on the beach block. Less than 10 minute walk from shops and a few restaurants. Pine street with more shops and restaurants only a short bike ride away. Free trolly available to get to bridge street. Plenty of beach chairs and equipment available to use with good size pool. CONS: Seemed smaller in person than it did on the listing. Absolutely no storage for luggage and clothes- just a very small linen closet and no dressers. Bed was okay, but not the most comfortable.

We loved the location and the property. Newly decorated and looked awesome but the only closet was tiny and I had to remove things that were in the shelves, which were tiny to have room for our underwear and pajamas. There were no drawers at all to store clothes in. We ended up buying a hanging clothes rack and put it in the living room so we could unpack our suitcases. The couch made out into a bed to accommodate four people but there is no way four people could unpack their suitcases. Once suitcases were unpacked there was no where to put them. We saw the previous owner, whose daughter owns it now, and told him there at least needed to be a chest of drawers to put clothes in. He basically told us not to bring so many clothes. We may stay in these bungalows again but not that one just because of no where to put anything!

We arrived after hours, but the self check-in was very simple. We met the property manager the following morning, and she was very welcoming & made sure we were happy with our cottage. The cottage was spotlessly clean, and very cozy. It was the perfect size for my husband & I.

Great place but needs new AC unit

Great property. Great location. Very clean. But... annoying, obnoxious mildew smell when the AC was used. Typically AC will reduce the smell of mildew but in this case, the AC introduced it into the cottage--had to keep the door/windows open to clear the smell.

Perfect location and rustic charm

We loved the location within steps of the beach, and within walking distance of restaurants. We appreciated the availability of beach chairs etc to borrow. Our unit was MUCH cozier than we had anticipated. It’s a ground floor level unit, with low ceilings. At 5’4” I could touch the ceiling flat footed. There was no insulation between us and the unit above ours. We could hear EVERY step the tenants made !! I didn’t notice that the amenities did not include a dishwasher; not a problem for us, but it may be for others. I would consider renting in this location again but NOT this unit.
