Great stay. The place was clean and well maintained and close to the beach. The property managers were very communicative. The hot tub and pool were perfect. A very safe lay out for small children. The only downside was that the house was not stocked with the essentials-- they give you a nice little welcome starter box with travel size supplies, but if you stay more than a couple days, you likely will need to buy dish soap, dishwasher pods, laundry detergent, paper towels, salt, trash bags, etc. Many places are like this and I still rate the listing 5 stars! But it was notable as our primary complaint and may be helpful for others to know in advance.

Loved the color of the decor, the "eagles' nest", and the pool. Everything worked perfectly.The only negative was the ants in the kitchen near the faucet and the bugs in the 3rd bathroom upstairs.

We had a wonderful time at this house. Loved the view from the rooftop while sipping our coffee. The proximity to Bean Point Beach was fantastic. Close to restaurants. Enjoyed the pool, hot tub and games. Comfortable beds. Our family of 4 had plenty of room to spread out and relax.

This beach vacation home is awesome! The house has been completely renovated with beautiful floors, cabinets, bathrooms and outside areas. There are a ton of games and activities provided, a putt putt area on the side of the house, a beautiful pool and hot tub that is private from the neighbors due to all the palms lining the property and a second floor deck. The beds are comfortable with nice sheets, the shower has great water pressure and gets hot fast, the AC is easy to adjust and got so cold, so we slept like babies. There’s a spiral staircase that leads to a balcony with beautiful views, which my son loved! This house and the management team were great, we never felt like we were missing anything or that any detail was left out. We plan on staying here again in the future! Oh, and football games on the outside TV while relaxing in the pool was a big hit! Thanks again!

Anna Maria Island - Called In Sic

The six of us stayed for four nights during spring break. The property had plenty of room and was in a quiet neighborhood. Very short walk to beach. There were stores, bars, and restaurants close enough to walk to. All in all it was a great trip and the house worked excellent for the six adults who were.

HOA type temperature control

The house is very clean, however very bear bones.There were no staples in the home for cooking, not even salt and pepper. The pool was very clean and had a nice overhang for shade with a fan which was great. The beds were very uncomfortable. All matresses need replacement. There were no sheets to be found for the downstairs bed and due to all the red tape, we could not get them until the next day. Blankets were stiff . The biggest drawback is the way the company controls the temperature in the home. You are only allowed to have a temperature range from 70 to 73! I had to call and fight with the company to lower the ac ( florida summer weather) downstairs as it was way too warm. It look several hours for them to " approve it" for 2 degees lower. The upstairs was too cold and we could not raise the temperature upstairs. My grandkids were cold all week. In a home that you are paying thousands to stay in for the week, we should not have to fight with an HOA type company to adjust the temperature for comfort. It also would of been nice to provide umbrellas. We were forced to rent them. Not a very customer friendly company that runs this home. We will not be back.

Great for Families

This house was great for our family, 3 children. The downstairs suite was perfect for my father in law, who joined us as well! The kitchen was well stocked and we were easily able to prepare meals. The beds were comfortable and overall the house was beautiful and very comfortable! The pool area is amazing. Our kids couldn’t get enough! The garage was stocked full of fun toys and games. The outdoor shower was convenient and so nice! This house was perfect, exactly what we were looking for and such a treat for our family. I would recommend for younger kids, bring crocs or something like that for around the pool. The deck is slick when wet, but water shoes or crocs make that no issue at all!

Birthday celebration week

We had a fabulous time! The pool and hot tub were perfect. The basketball hoop was a fun bonus in the pool area. A walk to bean point beach was on point! All of the beach amenities were provided from the house with a cart. Sunsets on the roof deck, golf carts we rented, shopping,etc. Loved it all! We'll be back.

Great location, ideal family rental

Overall, “Called in Sic” was exactly as advertised. Situated in a quiet neighborhood, one block from the beach, the location couldn’t have been better. The roof deck was off the charts. 360 degree view for miles. The house was pristinely clean when we arrived. Communication with the rental company was prompt and extremely attentive. The pool provided both adequate shade as well as sun filled spots to lounge. The garage area was awesome, and a favorite of the kids in our group. The outdoor TV/lounge area was a great spot to hang out at night. A couple minor critiques, the construction next door was unfortunate, but unavoidable from the renters standpoint. The weekdays we stayed were filled with hammers and loud music from the construction crew from about 10am thru 5pm, and was noticeable if you were on the roof deck our out by the pool. We drowned out most of the noise with our own speaker, but definitely a downfall of being on an area of the island that has construction. The first night we stayed, we were excited to fire up the grill, only to find out the propane tanks were both empty. We contacted the rental company via text and there were 2 tanks delivered before we woke up the next day. We had to change our plans from grilling hamburgers to using the stove, which proved difficult with only one frying pan provided. Overall, everything was outstanding. We will look to book the same week next year, when the construction next door will be finished. Location unmatched

Great Getaway!

This house was perfect for a girls weekend away with family - plenty of room to spread out for 6 people. The pool was awesome - and we enjoyed the hot tub portion since we had cooler temps. 5 minute walk to a Bean Point beach entrance made for easy trips back and forth to the beach! Walk to town/trolley is ~15 minutes as well. The rooftop is such a great spot to relax with plenty of seating! Great communication with the property manager. We loved our stay at AMI and would rent here again!

Girl Trip

We love AMI, and enjoyed our stay. We loved the heated pool, very popular with my granddaughter, despite the cooler day temps. The living room furnishings could be updated, the upholstery was faded and chairs were very unsteady for sitting. The kitchen was poorly equipped, it was necessary to purchase many condiments, that in past homes have been available (salt, pepper, coffee filters etc.)…silverware was limited. A beautiful, quiet neighborhood.

Fabulous for Girls Trip or Large Family

We had a wonderful 4-night stay at Called in Sic. Comfortable beds, lots of amenities, easy walk to the beach, great pool and hot tub. The outside and garage “playroom” set up is great for both kids and adults. We will definitely come back!

Friends Get Away

Six 58+ year olds who have been friends since elementary school stayed at this property the first week in May. We absolutely loved the house. We hung out at the pool & patio area for a portion of every day! The ping pong table and games in the garage were an excellent bonus and the roof top patio was beautiful. The location was convenient, but we were glad to have rented a golf cart for the week to get around the island. The house was completely as promised and as pictured. When our internet service went out, it was fixed the very next day. Communication with the management company was responsive & timely. I hope to stay at this property again!

Great Property - Beautiful Location

This is a beautiful and comfortable property. Super convenient to beaches for walking or just enjoying a day there. The house has a lovely pool that is shaded to prevent it from being too hot but there is ample space to be in the sun if preferred. Property manager is responsive but does control the AC during a guests stay so we had to contact them to modify it. Beds were very comfortable. Play area downstairs was extremely well outfitted with beach chairs, pong table and extra fridge.

Just what we needed!

My sister and I were looking for a few days respite from our busy lives and caring for an elderly parent. This was the perfect spot! We did make the short walk to the beach to enjoy the sunsets, but had everything we needed right on the property to relax, take some sun, swim, soak and enjoy time together. Access to beach chairs would have been a nice addition. While the kitchen had most of the things we needed to cook, the mismatched drink ware and the cookware could use an upgrade. There was only one pot with a lid and both nonstick sauté pans need replacing. The coating is peeling. Everything else was perfect!

Amazing location!

This property was amazing. Plenty of space for couples but also would have been great with kids too. We especially loved having the pool, and really enjoyed the view from the rooftop deck. The location is perfect with a very short walk or bike ride to multiple access points to the beach. We would definitely return to this wonderful location!
