Quiet location with great access to all AMI has to offer!

La Cocolia was the perfect house for an AMI stay with family. It has all the amenities one could need for a great vacation with great access to all the AMI beaches, restaurants and shopping fun. It was also a great set up for incorporating the family dog with fenced in yard and daily visits to the dog park to burn off some energy.

Cute, Clean and Comfy!

La Cocolia was amazing and just what our family wanted for our first vacation to AMI! The home was very clean and had the amenities we needed to make it a great week. The washer and dryer were amazing with kids. Bring your own laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent and hand soap- easy to grab at many places on the island. The pool was wonderful and the backyard is gorgeous and inviting. Our communication with the staff at Salty Mermaid was top notch- they are an awesome crew of people and answered all of my questions prior to our arrival quickly. We would absolutely love to return and rent from Salty Mermaid again either at this house or one of their other rentals that we saw around the island.

Staycation

Overall, this property was just right, aside from a few improvements that could be made here and there. The best part of this home is the backyard. The pool is big, it's so tranquil, private and beautiful. However, it would have been nice to not have found dog poop on rocks around the pool. The waterfall feature that is advertised on the pictures is not in working condition and I would have liked some communication on the fact that a vacuum was left in the pool so that I wouldn't be left wondering if I am able to remove it while we swim or just figure out how to swim around it. The interior of the home is fine. There are moon windows so if you wish to sleep in a bit (one of the bedrooms) I suggest bringing a sleeping mask. If you don't sleep in than the location is a short walk to the beach side facing East if you want to see the Sunrise. The kitchen was sufficient enough, easier for only one person to work in and it was lacking a cutting board. Other than that, it was great. The fridge was big enough and the dishwasher just makes life easier. Also keep in mind that although the bikes are listed as an "amenity" don't count on it. The bikes are old and when we informed management that one was dry rotted all they said was "Thanks for letting us know". Oh well for me I suppose. Fortunately, it was easy enough to rent a bike for about $10 a day. Overall, the stay was tranquil and being to vacation on Ana Maria is a blessing.

Location Location and Pool!!!!

We had an amazing time at this property. The one down was if u had the TV on and u tried to warm food up in the microwave it would flip the breaker. It became a joke and we had fun with it. The location of this property was perfect but only if you have a golf cart. To walk this in this heat would be tough. So all in all 4 out of 5 for us we would stay here again for sure.

Beautiful backyard!

The house and backyard were great! Loved lounging by the pool in the beautiful backyard, felt very private and secluded. The house was great, very family and pet friendly. There were lots of beach toys and bikes available. Great location too, close to shops and restaurants and just a short bike ride to multiple beaches. Would definitely stay there again!

Happy to be there

The property was very well equipped. There was nothing we needed that was not available. We especially enjoyed the back yard which was perfect for a pleasant meal and just sitting or swimming. The only criticism I would make is that the floor was not clean. My sister goes barefoot a lot and she noticed that her feet became dirty from walking on the floor. When we took a wet paper towel and wiped a section, it was made clear that the floor definitely needed washing.
