The location of this home is wonderful! It's a short walk to the beach and close to many amenities (restaurants, shops, activities) within walking distance. The onsite pool is nice. We didn't realize we needed to ask for the hot tub to be heated- just assumed it would be, so we did not utilize that as a hot tub. We did have a snafu with the trash. We were told to put it out Monday and Friday, but it got tagged Monday that it wasn't our day, so we put it out Tuesday as well, and it wasn't emptied until Friday. The kitchen was well-equipped. We loved being able to add on the golf cart to be available and picked up on property- very nice! Biggest complaint was that the king beds were EXTREMELY hard. Felt like sleeping on a board. Pillows were also very flat. We had to double up. We ended up calling the management company about the "master" bed to see if any mattress covers were available, and ended up having on sent via amazon that arrived mid-trip. It helped a little, but was pretty disappointed to sleep terrible all week because the mattresses were awful. I expected more from a home of this caliber.

The best part about this property is the location and the pool and hot tub. It is literally a one block walk to the beach and a short walk to a great coffee shop and breakfast place (Ginny and Jane’s). The pool was lovely and we loved the shallow end for children. It was clean and well cared for. Our only disappointment was the kitchen. The dishwasher did not work well and we did not feel like there were enough utensils for cooking. We cooked in many times and just felt like we were struggling a bit. I like sleeping on a hard mattress, but mattresses, all of them, in this house are very very hard, so if that’s your style, you’re gonna love this place!

The property was nice It needs a bit of TLC The smoke detector batteries were old it was beeping in the night on a vaulted ceiling12’ in the air The door alarms were install poorly with duct tape and the sensors fell off and the alarm went off in the night The pool was turned off or broken for two days I solved the alarms myself but had to call twice re: the pool If they maintained it a bit more I would have given it 5 stars

Family beach vacation

The property we stayed in was perfect for our family of 10. The location was just a short walk to the beach and included beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. We all enjoyed the pool as well. We were able to walk or take the trolley anywhere on the island. Trolley stop was right by the house. Perfect beach week!!

- Great property, lovely house with everything you need. - Great view from the captens deck. - only two minutes walk to the lovely beach. - only “negative” point, near by street is really noisy

Fantastic house in the perfect location!

This is our fifth time vacationing on AMI and Ocean Walk was the perfect house for our family. A close walk to the beach and to shopping and restaurants, we were able to enjoy all of our favorite things during our time. The weather was a little cool, but pool and spa were warm and the back yard area is blocked from the wind. New beach chairs and wagon, bikes worked well for the kids and the ping pong table was a hit - especially on a rainy day! Would highly recommend for families or extended families as there is ample space and two master bedrooms. Only suggestion is new pillows for the bedrooms!

Location & space fantastic! FYI we had some splinters from the deck & stairs rails. Bikes was nice but flat tire on one of them. Had to rent chairs and umbrella as the ones there had seen better days.

Great Pool, Games Room and Spa

Lots of space for everyone to spread out and do their thing! Close to shops and restaurants. Street noise was a bit much when we were outside on deck or at pool but we put up with it.

Great rental

Great location, easy walk to the beach. Definitely a rental for 10-12 people easily. Pool is great, was nicely heated. Wagon was missing when we got there and they arranged one with the hour.

Awesome location

Great location! Property had a lot of stairs. Shower was good. Alarms on doors were annoying. The hot tub didn’t work for a few days, but management was quick to respond. Goid home for family with kids.
