The location of this accommodation was amazing. We were able to enjoy the old heart of Annecy right at our doorstep and even from our windows! The apartment was perfect for us. We enjoyed restaurants just feet from our door. I would recommend this to any couple or solo travellers.

Nice apartment in a very central location

Communication with the owners was efficient and clear. Apartment was clean and in a very central location. Only negative feedback is :- bedroom is very small (no space to move around the bed) and the double bed is a small double and not much use to anyone over 170cm tall- the bedding is not new. We were very hot in the small bedroom so removed the quilt/duvet from the cover and although the cover was clean the duvet was clearly stained and old- sofa bed mattress extremely uncomfortable and very worn in the middle to a point where you end up rolling from the edge to the middle. Also it slopes down from the foot to the head- no plugs in the sink in either the bathroom or the kitchen- there can often be unpleasant smells from the entrance hallway to the apartment door from the restaurant on the ground floor below, although this was not noticeable inside the apartment

Ideales Appartement um Anncy kennen zu lernen

Wir haben Wohnung und Umgebung genossen. Inmitten des schönen Zentrums, direkt mit Sicht auf Kanal usw. : topp. Und trotz des Restaurants im Haus war's abends angenehm ruhig. Die gut eingerichtete Küchenzeile animiert zum selber Kochen - nach Einkauf auf dem tollen Markt. Marktes

Two weeks in Annecy --- heaven

Lake Annecy is an outdoorsperson's dream. Hiking, swimming, boating, hiking, skiing, etc...and so beautiful! This apartment is located in the old city, a five minute walk from the lake. It is also in the thick of the action---restaurants, shops, etc.---which is good at times and a little annoying when the revelers get rowdy at 3 a.m. In my mind, this is a very small price to pay for the vicinity to the lake. Tastefully renovated apartment with all the necessities. (I would recommend a fold-down shelf in the living room for folks who live out of a suitcase and a clothes drying rack.) Thank you!

A little gem in Old Town

I was contacted by the host before arrival and he was very friendly and helpful with check-in and also some restaurant recommendations. The apartment is ideally located in Old Town, nestled between and above restaurants. It is small but has everything you need and has been furnished nicely and to a good standard. I really enjoyed my stay and would not hesitate in returning or recommending.

Magical view.

Great location in old city. Close to everything. Good for those travelling on foot. View out the window is a winner. The owner has supplied an effective cooling system so even in the heat it is a comfortable space (maybe one more fan for the bedroom would be good). The owner lost their property manager in the days preceding our visit so communication leading up to our stay was stressful - as no one was answering us until I called VRBO. Once that issue was sorted - the new property manager was great. Problem of note: the bathroom shower drain is clogged so even the shortest shower at the lowest pressure was impossible. This NEEDS to be addressed. Small unavoidable issue: The hall leading to the suite smells of restaurant activity but there is no smell in the suite itself. Very fresh and clean and well appointed.
