“Old building with lots of character. We had a lovely room, with an original door. There were plenty of plug and usb sockets. Be mindful the property is on a main road so have traffic noise. I thought earplugs with me. Carolina was the perfect host and made us welcome, a real credit to the property. We prebooked breakfast for both days, it came out right on time and was delicious. We would definitely stay again. Thanks, Alina & Steve ”

“Spent two nights as a couple with a small dog. Totally relaxing break on the banks of the River Trent. Stayed in one of the adjacent cottages (no 14). Excellent. Only niggles were that although the bathroom had been recently refurbished, the extractor fan was not working and there was nowhere to hang a towel. Bathroom had the best shower I have ever used. Talk about a whoosh! We ate both nights in the restaurant. It had a limited menu, but the food was good. Food and drinks reasonably priced....
