“The cabin was well maintained and the property was very secluded. The beds and couch were comfortable. Showers and baths were working and in great condition. We enjoyed the small fire pit and picnic table in the backyard. We were there to visit family and ride our Jeeps at the Good Evening Ranch. The cabin was convenient to all of our activities. We would definitely recommend staying at the cabin.”

“The house was clean. All appliances in good working order. Check in was easy. Owner easy to communicate with. She even checked in with me to make sure I got home okay. She was great to work with. Will stay there again, if I am in the New River Gorge are. Located close to attractions and out door events.”

“Great location for home basefor hiking and sight seeing. The area was cleaning up after a storm when we arrived. Power out at places, no wifi, but all was eventually restored. Take a book, as if wifi is out, there is no tv. Cell service very spotty. However the home has what you need for a nice stay. Relax and disconnect!”

“This house fit our family perfectly. The kids had plenty to do with the game room and the large yard. The adults enjoyed a game of pool and the hot tub. The getaway is conveniently located to hiking, the beach and Fat Eddie's. If we are in the area again we will definitely stay here.”

“We loved our stay at this property! It was extremely clean! Many places we’ve stayed before do not do a thorough job cleaning but this place was spotless. The owners did an awesome job remodeling it and it was decorated so well and had new appliances. It had everything we needed in the kitchen, it was nice having a full size washer/dryer. “Very cute, comfortable, and well put together cottage. Supplied with everything needed and some appreciated extras . Perfect location for all our hiking adventures from the south end to the north end of the park. Just 15 minutes from Bridge. Highly recommend the Bridge Walk! Hope to be back to the area with some friends and will stay at this cottage again!”

“We stayed two nights at the house on our trip to visit New River Gorge National Park in June. The house had everything we needed and was well stocked with kitchen supplies. We walked to Tudor's Biscuit World for breakfast one of the mornings, since it is only two blocks away. Our communication with David was great during our stay and he was quick to respond to any questions.”

“The home was very close to rafting, atv, bridge walk and zip lining. It was nice to be able to cross the bridge to walk to restaurants. We had 5 people and it was perfect for us. “Everyday was an adventure for our group of two couples from NJ who travel together every year. Biking (downhill was the best!), eating out at Gaines Estates and other local restaurants, grilling in, boating, and more biking were some of the highlights of our trip. We were all able to get a good night sleep for each of the five nights of our stay. The wildlife in the backyard was a bonus. Kitchen was well-stocked! Wild and wonderful time. “Amazing place!!!! Took us max 5 minutes to get to the park. Well needed break from the DMW. Host was engaged and responsive. Zero issues. I will definitely stay there again. Shopping was also close. An overall oasis. Host even left smores fixings for the firepit and had wood on site.”
