A pocos metros del mar, Pozo del contrabandista es un refugio de carácter en el pintoresco pueblo de Cellardyke en el Neuk de Fife. Capacidad 2-3 (o 2 + bebé) en una habitación con cama de matrimonio y un sofá cama.

Excellent Property

Lovely little cottage it was home from home. Steps in garden were steep however we knew this before we went. Great location. Would definitely stay there again.

Lovely cosy accommodation

The size of the property is perfect for a couple or single person It is tastefully decorated and had everything you could need Garden is a 3 tiered terrace that is a bit of a sun trap Not for people with limited mobility as there are a lot if steps up into it . Parking is limited due to the age of the old streets but I always found a space after driving round a couple of times .

Lovely wee cottage in a great location

The cottage was small but perfectly well appointed with everything you could need, except perhaps somewhere to put toiletries etc (a small dressing table perhaps?). The living room and bedroom were both very comfortable and the shower excellent. We felt the finish throughout was good and we would recommend.

This was an ideal little cottage, we knew the location was perfect as we have been to cellardyke before. Would defo recommend and would use this accommodation again...perfect! Only downside I hurt my back when we were away. Fiona

Wonderful!

The property was modern yet cozy and provided everything needed for a home from home stay. It was decorated and equipped to a high standard. Good communication from Kirsten when enquiring about the dogs. Will definitely be back 😃

Perfect!

I traveled to Anstruther/Cellardyke to read, write, knit, drink tea, and swim. I did all of those and more. The cottage was perfectly appointed and perfectly located for me. Couldn't have asked for a better stay.

Cozy Cottage

Smugglers Well was as described - a cozy little cottage. Location was easy walk to restaurants, the harbor and just a 7-minute walk to the bus station. I thought parking would be a challenge, but there was plenty of open spaces at the car park just 1-2 mins past the cottage. I notified Kirsten by email when I arrived as i couldn’t figure out how to open the bathroom sink stopper. While it was user error, her husband came over first thing the next morning and squared it all out. Check-in was seamless. My only recommendation is to consider a booklet for instructions for the guest. I’m well travelled through Europe and know to turn on power switches in order for the stove, etc to be powered on, but others may not be aware.

Weekend in Scotland for a wedding

Excellent property, very peaceful, comfortable and well equipped. It was on the Fife coast path so excellent walking from the door. An excellent base to explore both the coastline and St. Andrews

Cosy cottage.

Lovely, cosy cottage ideal for the two of us. Only problem was the connection into the back of the TV was loose and needed ‘tweaking’ in a few occasions. Good location and parking not a problem. Otherwise, highly recommended.

Lovely well equipped cottage in peaceful, quaint fishing village. Luxury bedding, towels and robes, coffee machine and garden seating with chimnea and a BBQ are nice touches which made our holiday extra special.

Beautiful cottage

Cottage was spotlessly clean and comfortable...bedlinen was top class and so comfortable. Kristen the host had left us a lovely little assortment of lovely jams and marmalade...scrumptious .Thank you! Wouldn't hesitate to return again.

Smuggler’s Well was a perfect place to stay! It was clean and well-appointed.

Access was easily to this clean, well-maintained property. It is a three block walk to the award winning bakery of G.H. Barnett & Sons (and week worth it)!

Cosy Cottage in Historic Fishing Town

A lovely cosy cottage for the two of us and our dog. Living area deceptively spacious. Plenty to do on the 'door step'. Cellerdyke had lots of atmosphere - narrow streets and hidden gateways, not some where to hurry around or have a large car! Once we had our parking space we left the car and walked - by far the best way to see the locality.

Nice and bijou! Quality linen and furniture and fittings House could be enhanced by external lighting and a rail to the stairs leading to back door. Poor internet connectivity and that could be advised in advance

Comfortable & Clean

Lovely, comfortable cottage ideally situated for restaurants, bars and even Chinese takeaway. Close to bus route for St Andrews and Leven and all stops inbetween. We enjoyed our stay and house was well epuiped for our needs. We stayed a week and the only request we had was for some fresh towels which Kirsten responded to quickly, no problem. Thanks for a lovely stay Kirsten, hopefully we will stay again.
