Overall cleanliness of the property was poor at best. It appeared as if the previous guests tidied up themselves and the cleaners just put the towels and robes out. There were several issues that were communicated to the property managers but none actually led to a resolution. Most importantly was the fact that the water stoped working in the property when I attempted to fill the hot tub. If it hadn’t been for me troubleshooting the system we would have left as the manager did not respond in a timely manner, despite being advised as on call during the weekend. Over all the experience was ok, but I definitely would not stay at this property again, note would I recommend it. Which is said because the property and cabin both are beautiful. If I was the owner I would be absolutely furious with Huswell and would seriously consider finding another management company if conditions did not improve. I’ve included pictures of the mold on the blinds in the bathroom and on the wall in the toilet. Along with the state of the utility closet (trash and all) that houses the water pump I troubleshoot and got functioning.
