We enjoyed our time at this house. As noted in other reviews, it is clean and the location is fantastic because the beach is so close. (note: this is not the Santa Cruz beach. It is south of there, but this is a less crowded location, which we preferred). We really enjoyed our mornings and evenings on the back patio of the house. The neighborhood is quiet and there are a couple of cute restaurants nearby. This may just be my sensitive nose, but the home had a bit of a lingering pet smell. The air movement from opening a window or two helped with that though.
My recommendations for the owners is to include some basic beach items (mats/towels/bag), and to include more bath towels for guests to use. Also, the check-out information should be more organized in the packet of information provided (a checklist with all requirements rather than the info spread out through a couple paragraphs). I was worried that I would miss something because there were fees attached to forgetting each specific thing.
