Cabin was very clean. Hot tub and fire pit were great amenities. Loved the digital guidebook! Communication with the host was excellent. Very peaceful and quiet location. Convenient proximity to Calaveras State Park which was great for hiking. Beds were super comfy.

This is a nice clean property with a traditional cabin feel. The owners keep it well maintained with comfortable bedding and furniture. The hot tub was clean and comfortable and the espresso machine a huge highlight. A few limited but noteworthy disappointments though include the kitchen items which were mostly outdated and / or limited in supply such as eating and kitchen utensils as well as pots and pans. The overall decor and bathrooms in particular are also quite outdated. But, if you are looking for an old fashioned, clean, comfortable and family friendly cottage, this is a great place to stay near Arnold. But, if you love to cook or consider yourself a foodie we suggest bringing your own cooking and dining gear.

Everything was perfect. The cottage had everything we needed and lots of extras for a great stay. Excellent communication from the hosts and they have a nicely prepared website that explains everything about the property, appliance instructions, codes, etc. it was very thorough and convered everything we may need to know. Beds were comfortable, plenty of blankets and pillows. Loved the espresso machine - what a treat! Also to note there are lots of phone chargers, and plenty of books, coat hangers, etc - very convenient. Guest needs have been thoroughly anticipated and it made for a perfect stay.We also enjoyed the snow sleds and shoes made available for guest use along with park passes - it completed the trip and we had soMuch fun!!!Highly recommend and we would choose to stay here again when we visit calavaras county in the future.

Pinecone Cottage was the perfect winter getaway. The host truly leaves no detail unaccounted for, and it was so appreciated to have everything we needed for a ski weekend. From the cozy pellet stove to the espresso setup and hot tub, the cabin was comfortable, well-equipped, and thoughtfully prepared. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay—highly recommend!

We had a fabulous and relaxing time. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit, and the indoor pellet stove. We had never used one before it was great. There were no other folks in the neighborhood, which we loved. We stayed during the week. We would definitely come again maybe when there is snow. Everything you need comfortable and clean hosts very responsive and welcoming! We had a perfectly perfect relaxing getaway. Treat yourself!

What A Gem!

Perfection. Beautiful cabin with great amenities. The nicest and most helpful hosts. We had lots of fun exploring the area. Especially happy that we could bring our dogs!

Great property excellent service

Host was friendly and super accommodating including allowing us to checkin early so we didnt miss our beloved 49ers game! Great cabin well stocked and communication when we had qiestions was fast. Definitely recommend.

Great Place To Stay!

Great location, perfect home away from home! This cabin was so cute and cozy, it was very clean and so nicely decorated! It was well stocked and you can see the pride in ownership as soon as you arrive. Chelsea and Bobby have gone above and beyond to make everything very comfortable for their guests. They have thought of everything even an app that provides all the information you need during your stay. We will def book again in the future!

Just book it

Lovely location, amongst the trees and very quiet so you it feels secluded although it is part of a nice neighborhood. Access to the neighborhood community pool and playground was awesome, fire pit and hot tub were amazing, well equipped house including espresso machine. Appreciated small touches like the phone charging cords for the three common charging plugs, and easy to remember door lock code. We had a few questions along the way and the owner was very helpful and replied very quickly. Only issue is that the upper half of the taller windows was uncovered so light streamed in pretty early in the morning, but you kind of have to expect that from staying in a cute cabin in the woods so just make sure you bring an eye mask if you are not an early riser. Would 100% stay here again.

Great stay!

We loved our time at the Pinecone Cottage. Beautiful place, nice hot tub, safe area. The girls loved roasting marshmallows over the outdoor firepit. The only thing I hadn't considered was that there is no fence for the doggo so I had to take him out on a leash. I could have just left him tied outside on the leash if he didn't have separation anxiety. Communication was great. The whole process was easy. Thanks!

Excellent stay! We'll be back again!

The house was wonderful and we were very happy with our stay. We had no complaints and the hosts were very responsive. We plan to stay again in the summer to be able to partake in more local trails. We stayed when there was still a good amount of snow on the ground, but it was refreshing to walk our dog around the neighborhood with all the beautiful snow. Would totally recommend this rental to anyone!

Perfect Getaway!

We had a beautiful time! A girls weekend, way overdue! We loved the pellet stove fireplace, the espresso machine, the hot-tub and the openness of the kitchen/living space. The beds were super comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked! Loved the thoughtful touches like the complimentary bottle of wine, chocolates and sweet guestbook. The digital manual Chelsea sent, prior to our arrival, was a great reference tool. Thank you, Chelsea!

A Wonderful Stay at Evergreen!

We had an amazing time at the Evergreen Pinecone Cottage! The cottage was super cozy and was well appointed with all the amenities. The tall A-frame windows have beautiful views of the pines and keep you connected with the outdoors, which was really nice with 6-7 feet of snow on the ground! The hot tub was wonderful and espresso machine was so much fun in the mornings. Chelsea and Bobby were amazing hosts, they had awesome communication and provided clear details on everything including providing an app for quick reference. The Dorrington area was quiet and peaceful and loved taking our pups on long walks through the neighborhood and narrow snow lined streets. Overall, the cottage was very clean and cozy with tons of character and had all the amenities of home. We loved our stay and would highly recommend the Evergreen Cottage for a relaxing and carefree vacation!

Home away from home

We came here to celebrate my son’s 12th birthday and had a great time. The property was clean and well- equipped, we cooked both nights we were there. The hot tub was a treat, as was the sno park pass! Chelsea was always quick to respond and a great communicator. Love the neighborhood, and how well- groomed the streets were even after snowfall. I would love to stay here again! Thank you Chelsea!

Winter wonderland

Wow we can’t say enough about this cabin. Our family of 5 has the best time. Kids played in the snow for hours daily, hot tub fun while it snowed, played Atari, board games and watching movies. We loved all the special touches like the biscotti’s and cookies. The cabin has everything you need. We would definitely come back.

Absolutely perfect

This property was an absolutely perfect getaway for our family. Chelsea and Bobby are the best possible hosts and thought of every last detail to make our trip exactly what we were hoping it would be. Check-in was seamless, the home was spotless, and everything worked exactly as indicated. We were there in the winter and the roads and driveway were plowed just as described in the listing, and we had more entertainment options indoors than we could even get to during our stay. The hot tub was clean and warmed up quickly, and our whole family enjoyed that feature so much. We were so happy we chose this home to rent for our family trip to the snow, and we hope to rent from Chelsea and Bobby again soon, as they were the easiest hosts to work with that I’ve ever rented from. Wonderful stay—highly recommend!
