LAZY BEAR CABIN! Sleeps 10, wheelchair accessible, great Highway 4 location!!!

  • Location, location, location! Skiing, hiking, UTV/motorcycle trails, downhill bicycle trails, kayaking, fishing, golfing, cave exploration, star gazing, concerts or wine tasting? This cabin has ALL of these fantastic California adventures within 20 miles. The land behind the cabin is wooded with fire road access to Interface Off Road Park in Arnold, Ca. The detached bunkhouse offers an opportunity for added privacy or multiple couples/families to use. The outdoor area includes an extra-large firepit, a swing set, gas grill and a large picnic table. The main house and bedroom 1 are wheelchair accessible. The family room features a 50-inch 4k smart tv and wood burning fireplace. Access to the cabin is down a private dirt road with spacious parking for 4-5 vehicles. During winter months you will need four-wheel drive, an additional snowplow fee may be required.

Truly enjoyed our time here the cabin comes fully stocked either everything and more extra blankets pillows heated blankets towels games completely stocked kitchen love that previous guest leave things like paper plates napkins plastic forks spoons spices we seen that so we are sure to leave thing the next guest could use

We had the most amazing vacation here. The cabin, had everything. The fire place was ready to go for us, the kitchen had everything we needed, there were electric blankets. It is in a great location, easy to get to. Absolutely beautiful views. We went hiking around the cabin, my dog loved that.

Definitely enjoyed my stay!!! The cabin was cute and super cozy . Property was clean. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you needed.The outside was beautiful loved the fire pit in the front my family and I and our two dogs had a blast and really really enjoyed our stay.

Clean Comfortable Stay

Cabin was clean and well kept. Host communicated very well and was easy to check in/out. Would recommend for a stay in the area.

Great place great time

We had a fantastic time at the lazy Bear cabin, great location, very clean had all the amenities that we needed.Recommend this place for anybody!!!A**** vacation spot!!!

Great Getaway.

Stayed with family, lots of teenagers. We had plenty to do, and some good internet provided by the cabin. Kitchen/dining room was very roomy and kids could play games while adults cooked/hung out.

The cabin was great - such a pretty spot surrounded by the forest! Nick also was great - very communicative and helpful. Everything worked as advertised, the beds were comfortable and Nick and his cleaning service were accommodating and helpful in facilitating us stopping back by after checkout to grab a jacket we had forgotten/left hanging on a hook behind the front door. Thank you Nick!

Great Cozy cabin tucked away!

We stayed here with some friends and had a great time! The house is cozy but it was warm, clean and we made lots use of the fire pit outside. It’s got a good amount of space around it which was great for the dogs. It’s right across from camp Connell general store and it was an easy trip up to Lake Alpine and down into Arnold.

A little piece of heaven The cabin was perfect! from my first communication with Stacy/Nick, the response was prompt and detailed and all of my questions answered.The cabin was clean and cozy, kitchen and bathroom fully stocked with supplies.The beds were amazing and the room separated from the house was so great, we had 2 couples in the main house and my single friend stayed in the separated room, which was perfect for her, she fully enjoyed it.We used the firepit, gazed at the stars and loved the peace and quiet of the location.The neighbors were very nice and informed us about the live music playing right across the street at the General store, so we walked over and it was an awesome time, the store is fully stocked with everything you can think of, there was great food, pizza, salads, hot dogs and even veggie burgers for us vegetarians, drinks, ice cream, milkshakes and the music was fantastic.Can't wait to stay at the cabin again and am recommending to our friends.Thank you Stacy/Nick, until next time :)

It’s the perfect cabin in the woods. It worked out especially well for our two dogs. Spacious and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. The bed was great and the big television was nice to watch in the evening. The host was very accommodating and responsive… he even had the heat turned on prior to our arrival so we were nice and cozy from the moment we stepped inside. We will definitely stay there again in the future. Thanks!

we had a wonderful day. It's close to everything but most important it's close to the mountain. We usually stay in Arnold, but Dorrington is closer to the mountain then Arnold so that saved us another 15 minutes. The house was super and we had no problems.

Fabulous experience!

We had a great time staying here. The kids loved the house and property, and everyone was very comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful - we loved taking the dog on walks on the road behind the house. It was a convenient location to everything we wanted to do. Check in and out was easy, and we genuinely felt like guests. We definitely plan to return - my 5-yr-old cried all the way home because he was so sad to leave.

After Christmas getaway

Everything about this property was as advertised. Such a cozy space that accommodated the 8 humans and 4 dogs very comfortably. (Even with only 1 bathroom.) Thank you Nick for allowing us to add 2 more dogs. The kitchen was the perfect spot for us to all eat together and enjoy our time playing games. We also enjoyed sitting around the fire pit in the back. A wide open space that was beautiful and peaceful. The dogs thoroughly enjoyed exploring. Thank you Nick for sharing your home with us
