Skiing at Bear Valley for the long weekend
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. It was my husband and our three kids (4,6,8 yr old). The space was perfect for our size group. Everything in the unit felt relatively new and well kept. We appreciated the soap dispensers in the showers and all of the kitchen items available. The loft felt more private than expected. The location is perfect since it is close to both the grocery store and the highway. There were a few things to note for future guests. The first is the heating. The house does not have central heat. So when you arrive you need to turn on the main pellet stove and room space heaters immediately if you’re visiting in the winter. It was absolutely freezing for two hours before the home began to heat up. That was a little tough for the little ones. But once we had it heated it held the heat well for the rest of our stay. The other issue was the cleaning staff had not cleaned deeply enough and had left dishes in the dishwasher and trash in the inside cans. But Vacasa was quickly supportive and had the cleaners come and fix the issues. Overall we would recommend staying here.
