Cozy Mountain Retreat w/Chef's Kitchen

  • Una acogedora y tranquila casa de adobe condominio (Permiso de ocupación residencial de Taos HO-20-2022) enclavada en las montañas, con unas vistas espectaculares del valle de Valdez. Un refugio tranquilo y rústico cerca de Taos, Taos Ski Valley (a 10 min) y el pintoresco pueblo de Arroyo Seco. A solo unos minutos puedes practicar senderismo, esquiar, ir de compras y hacer rafting. Planta superior: dos dormitorios con cama de matrimonio y baño completo en suite, chimeneas eléctricas y un balcón para disfrutar de las vistas. Planta baja: cocina de chef, salón con sofá cama de matrimonio y una pequeña colección de vinilos, baño completo y zona diáfana para relajarte y hacer barbacoas. Entorno de montaña con una iluminación suave y ambiental. Se recomienda un coche con tracción total (AWD/4WD) durante todo el año.

We had a pleasant stay in this comfortable townhome that worked well for our group of travelers. While we have been to Taos many times, it was our first time to stay outside of Taos. The location was not far to the El Prado part of Taos, where we are partial to some restaurants, especially Orlandos. The deck out front had a nice view and was pleasant for sketching and reading.

We had a wonderful stay at this condo that felt tucked away, but also convenient! Everything was clean, well furnished, and the kitchen was very well equipped. Each of our two kids had separate sleeping areas and their own bathrooms, which is always best. The fans provided definitely helped with the one warmer evening we had. We enjoyed waking up in the morning to the fresh, cool air pouring in the windows. Absolutely no complaints!

Perfect layout for a last-minute summer getaway for two couples. Conveniently located between the city of Taos and the Taos Ski Valley on a quiet mountainside. It was a little rustic, and we had some issues with various remotes around the condo being out of battery / incorrectly placed making TV usage difficult, but not a priority for us. Communication with hosts was easy and quick, and check in was a breeze.

The property is in a great community that is in close proximity to Arroyo Seco and a short drive to Taos proper. We wanted to be closer to the Taos Ski Valley but not completely isolated in the mountains. The amenities in this condo are incredible. Practically every cooking pan and utensil you can think of is on hand. The record player and record collection was thoughtfully curated for all tastes. Would definitely book this home again in any season.

Perfect get away

Beautiful, fully furnished condo. Comfortable with awesome surroundings and just the right distance from Taos and neighboring ski and hiking areas.Would defintely return to enjoy the area again.

Quiet and Relaxing

Such a lovely place to stay and relax. We loved exploring during the day and having a quiet place to relax during the evening. House was well supplied, even board and card games for the kids!

The property was exactly as promised and more. The location is beautiful with the most stunning views of northern New Mexico. The layout of the condo was perfect for couples or families.

Well Appointed

Really neat location tucked on a hillside above Valdez. The unit has been updated with quality furnishings and is a great place to relax with easy access to skiing and town.
