This was great for our group of 15! The rooms and beds were comfortable. Everyone had space to spread out. The main house was great for cooking and relaxing as a group. The kitchens had everything you need in terms of appliances and cooking utensils. Location was close to the skiing and town for fishing/ shopping/ eating out. The house was very clean which we really appreciated and the grounds were beautiful (amazing views from the hot tub).

Denise was helpful and welcoming. The compound was perfect for our group of friends and family. All of the buildings were very clean and in great condition, pantry basics are stocked and nice small appliances too! We enjoyed the stay very much.

Taos Compound

We had a wonderful time at this property! It was just what we needed for a family reunion for a Taos wedding. The houses had everything we were looking for and more!

Beautiful property

My large group was comfortable in this home- plenty of beds and space to relax. The view from the balcony simply cannot be beat and the 3 acres provided a beautiful and safe place to explore. This location is a must stay!

Perfect property for us

This property was perfect for a multi-generation family gathering. All the houses were super clean and comfortable. The main house is a beautiful log home with a wonderful view. We highly recommend this property.

Taos getaway.

The property is excellent and just as advertised. We had a family reunion there and everyone really enjoyed El Salto. Plenty of space to spread out. We will stay there again.

Great place in a great location!

We loved El Salto Compound. It had plenty of space for our group, we loved the architecture, the views and the fairly close proximity to Taos Ski Valley. Denise, the property manager, was easy to communicate with and very helpful when we had questions. We had a great stay!

Taos get away

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the place if you have a large group of older adults it gives everyone space and privacy. It was easy to get to from the airports and about 24 mins from the ski resort. We loved having the fire places. The caretaker was responsive to our questions regarding the trash compactor to ensure everything with smoothly. The only issue to note was that after we left and locked up the hot tub it started to empty itself so I would recommend taking a photo prior to departure and if you have some larger folks in the group keep the hot tube to a minimum or it will siphon itself.

We had 6 adults, a baby, and a 2 y.o. in the main house, 3 adults in the middle house, and 2 adults in the guest house in comfortable beds. Fire in the fireplace and a beautiful Christmas tree made for a memorable and wonderful Christmas for our family !!

The house is in great shape, has a stunning view, and in a great location - near hiking, skiing, the adorable town of Arroyo Seco, the Gorge, and Taos. We had a family reunion of 11 and also rented Wendy's Caja de Tesoro which is right next door. Very good experience.
