Absolutely fantastic place to stay! We booked it for a quiet family birthday weekend away, and were all absolutely delighted with it. There were seven of us, and we all fitted in comfortably - the property is very comfortable and spacious, with great outdoor areas too. It is beautifully located with stunning views all round, close to Ilam Hall and the trail to the Dovedale Stepping Stones. We were just so impressed with how well-equipped the place was - everything needed for a fantastic stay was there. Thank you for a wonderful stay in the Peak District!

The bungalow is a little tired but it was very clean, comfortable and spacious for 6 of us. The beds were very comfortable. The scenery 100% made up for everything. Breathtaking. It has its own garden but not secure so if you have little furry escape artist be aware. Would definitely recommend.

Good sized Bungalow

Excellent, generous sized bungalow with most things needed for your stay. Great area and surroundings. Ample parking. Would we stay again....most definitely!

Perfect stay for Alton towers, so quiet and relaxing, lovely village and perfect in every way. Bungalow was absolutely beautiful I didn’t want to leave!! Thank you for a perfect stay x

For a weekend meet up with friends, this bungalow was ideally placed with lots of things to do on the doorstep. Great value for money, clean, warm, tidy with everything you need. Beds were super comfy and the linen was crisp and inviting! Flexible layout allowed for each family to have space and bathrooms. We’ll definitely be back!

Lovely area. Property was clean and a great size. Owners have provided lots of puzzles, games and dvds for guests.

Lovely bungalow!

We had a lovely stay but it would have been so much better if all the spiders had been removed from the bungalow- they were everywhere! Lovely hosts & nice stay there.

Large and spacious property perhaps more designed for small groups than families, well equipped and a great base for walks, and peace and quiet.

Lovely stay with family in a beautiful bungalow. Very cosy and had everything you could need. Views were stunning and wonderful walks. Will definitely return.

Beautiful location

The place was perfect for 4 adults to share. The location was beautiful with enough space for all of us and a very well equipped kitchen to use for cooking during the stay. The owner was very hospitable.
