Beautiful lodge! The views are amazing and a bathroom connected to every bedroom was a dream!! We really enjoyed our girls trip here, highly recommend!!

This is a great location for a large group. Plenty of space ( bedrooms, bathrooms, common areas), well appointed rooms, great kitchen with an ice machine and all needed appliances. Host is very responsive on site- including going above and beyond in our case to bring jumper cables to help a guest with a dead battery. Would recommend the Wayward Moose Lodge for your gathering.

Gorgeous views, absolutely phenomenal space for large groups, super easy check in, kitchen is easily ready for cooking anything. It's very hard to find a place where every room has a bathroom, but this is it. Our group had a blast.

This is the second time our large group has stayed at this property, and we would do it again. The place is clean, kitchen is well stocked, and there’s plenty of room for everyone. Love the option for the shuttle as well.

We had a fantastic time. The cabin(s) are spacious and well appointed. We loved the privacy, the views and the proximity to downtown Asheville. Highly recommend!!

Amazing house for a large group of friends or family

The details and photos hardly do this amazing place justice. Everything is spacious but still warm and comfortable. It was such a pleasure to be here.

Great space for large groups

Plenty of beds and great space for large groups. A big kitchen which was perfect for Thanksgiving. Nice location, a remote feel without being far from Ashville, and beautiful views.

Wonderful Christmas trip

We had a wonderful trip with our extended family who were in town for the holidays from Europe! We cooked and enjoyed the property while doing holiday crafts and visiting Biltmore!

Perfect for a large group

We have a large group that comes to Asheville every year to check out the brewery scene. The Wayward Moose Inn was perfect for us. The property was plenty big enough for the whole group and having the ability to schedule a shuttle ride to downtown was an added bonus. We’ll definitely be looking to stay here when we come back.

Mom’s 80th birthday

We had a great time here and the property is well appointed and nice. Each bedroom is large and has its own bathroom and shower facilities. We saw a bear family a couple times, So keep that in mind as you stay. The road to the house is winding and narrow, but we never ran into any other traffic so it was OK. Asheville is minutes away, so the location is great.

Great location for Business Retreat

Property is perfectly located, up in the high ground of surrounding mountains but easy access to interstate, stores and restaurants. Held a business leadership retreat for 8 people and was perfect for our needs.

Excellent property, kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and utensils. WiFi was great with no issues and the views were awesome. Even saw a family of black bears two nights.

Great weekend

We loved the cabin, great kitchen, beautiful place. our driver picked us up and took us to the Orange Peel for a concert, absolutely great service. All 14 of us recommend the wayward Moose for your group or family.

Wonderful property for a large family gathering.

This was a great place for the whole family to have fun and share wonderful experiences. The access road could be a little dicey during a heavy rain but we were able to get around OK.

Perfect Mountain Getaway for a Large Group

The home was beautiful inside & out. The space offered was perfect for our party of 16 adults. It was amazing that each bedroom had a private bath. The gourmet kitchen, vaulted living room & dining room was perfect for entertaining. We would definitely stay here again.

as advertised, everything needed for big group

Clean, kitchen ready to entertain. Wifi and cable tv, hikes and close to town. Perfect spot for our christmas gathering of 17 ages 1-72, really a perfect family gathering spot. Can't wait to do it again.
