When we showed up to the place we booked roughly 3 months in advance, another guest was there and had booked through another service. The host tried to offer us a camper to stay in without water and blamed Vrbo for the double booking. Vrbo helped get us a full refund and a new booking.

I will be coming back!

Jennifer and Chad’s chateau on the hill is cute quaint and perfect for a single person or couples getaway. Although i do not have an animal, i look forward to the day where i can bring a pup as well. Everything was just as stated in the advertisement! New, modern, and so quiet! I came during a work trip so that meant early mornings and late nights. So I wish I had more time To enjoy the place. However I did enjoy the hot tub one night and it was indeed, a welcomed respite! As soon as I have the dates for my next Asheville event I’m booking this spot as it was the perfect getaway. Now I wish they’d have told this city girl about the bear visitors more than 72 hours in advance of the stay. But then I realized that bears are like squirrels in that neck of the woods; they’re everywhere. So it’s not that big of a deal to local folks. But I was fine! I had no bear sightings
