Beautiful Lake Huron View

New cottage in pristine condition with all the amenities! Gorgeous view of Lake Huron. Please note there are 65 steps down to the cottage. Pack lightly!

Stunning Lakehouse

We had the best time! From the moment we walked in, we were wowed by the lake views. The cottage is beautiful and had everything we needed. All of the furnishings and fixtures were good quality, which for me made the whole experience even better. We spent lots of time at the beach swimming, kayaking, and watching sunsets (which were never the same twice). We also loved being out on the balcony. It had amazing views of the lake, and we loved reading out there. We really had the best time!

Birthday Celebration

We LOVED staying at the Lookout ! The cottage is BEAUTIFUL!! Immaculate and tasteful , every room has its own personal touch . The views are fantastic ! We can’t say enough great things about it . Definitely would recommend to family and friends . Sad to leave paradise ! Thank you to Jennifer for her great service as well ! Our enjoy Our only recommendation is to advise cottagers to bring water shoes as we found the lake to be extremely rocky. Thank you for a great stay !!!

Beautiful and Relaxing

The views of the Lake from the deck and LR were amazing and the pics do not do justice to the actual home, interior and exterior extremely clean, beds were comfy, TV good quality, premium Kitchen appliances, DW extremely quiet, quality BBQ....well worth the 80 steps down to the cottage. Lots of great restaurants and bakeries in nearby Goderich which is indeed "the Prettiest Town in Canada". People were extremely friendly and we couldn't believe how clean the Town was. Would return in an instant but at our age the stairs are a challenge. Easily a 6/5 rating. Thank You Jen and Shauna for all your assistance.

Beautiful Cottage with Gorgeous View

Our family had an amazing week at The Lookout! The cottage was gorgeous, exactly as described in all the pics. We had lots of room, lovely kitchen with all the amenities! Loved the beverage fridge so we could accommodate all our food in fridge and freezer and our grandkids really enjoyed learning to play Chinese checkers!! The beach was lovely and was good to know ahead of time to pack our water shoes as the lake was rocky. Kids loved collecting the larger rocks and making castles etc in the sand. The deck was lovely and we enjoyed many stunning sunsets. We had our workouts climbing the stairs from the cottage to the parking and from the beach to the cottage. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and made many special memories. Thankyou!!

Beyond expectations

As soon as you open the door to this gorgeous newly built cottage, you know you have made right choice😱. Roomy, open concept with cathedral ceiling above, stylish anywhere you look and equipped with all the modern conveniences you can think of, will take your breath away. And yet, it smartly preserves that homey, “cottage” feel, you are really looking for. Especially, with all glassed wall with walkout on spacious deck facing the blue water of Lake Huron. The sunsets from this place are absolutely spectacular. The way the cottage is situated also guarantees total privacy from the outside world. It is also well equipped for exciting activities on private sandy beach. We sure are planning on coming back. Pat and Jan PS - We wish we would know how to share some of our photos, just to back up what we are saying 🥴.

A Fantastic Family Vacation

We stayed at the Lookout for a week in early August 2023. The cottage is absolutely gorgeous and exactly as advertised. We had no problems for the length of our trip. The kids loved walking along the beach (there is a perfect creek to explore about a 150minute walk away) and playing in the water. Being only a 10-minute drive from Goderich allowed us to explore the town and visit the Museum and Historic Gaol as well. The Lookout gave us a fantastic break and we were all relaxed and happy all week. Note: they aren't lying about the stairs. Our 10 y.o. counted 72 stairs from the parking to the cottage and a further 32 stairs down to the beach. It wasn't a problem for any of us but could be a problem for anybody with mobility issues.
