  • Quaint cabin located between the town of Ashford and the Nisqually entrance to Mt Rainier National Park. Hiking along the Nisqually river is within walking distance. 2 bedroom and a futon in the living room will accommodate up to 6 people comfortably. Cabin has A/C and heat for year round comfort. Ample parking in the fully fenced and gated property. Outdoor amenities include an outdoor kitchen with grill. Fire pit and Hot tub for relaxing. Use of onsite washer and dryer.

Lovely Mt Ranier Getaway

Super stay! House was cute and clean, very spacious and comfortable, in a great location near the park entrance and restaurants but tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. We had all that we needed.

Cute & cozy cabin. Everything was clean and they priovide you with things that maybe you didn't think to pack. We enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace. The host is friendly and communicates fast. Highly recommend this place for a cozy cabin experience 👌 Thank you Dans place for a wonderful experience!

Wonderful Trip

We really enjoyed staying at Dan's Place and visiting Mt Rainier. The house was clean and comfortable and the owner was very kind helping us with any questions, The hot tub was very nice after a long day of hiking.

Lovely family trip

The perfect place to explore mount rainier, and come home to relax and unwind. Our kids loved playing out doors. Dans place is equipped with everything you could need. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Excellent stay near Mt. Rainier

Beautiful property, excellent location. Tbe house has everything you need for a great and comfortable stay. The property is meticulously maintained, and the location could not be better for access to Mt. Rainier National Park.

Perfect stay super close to Mr. Rainier!

This was an excellent stay - great location, so close to Mt. Rainier, very nice hot tub, new grill, well equipped kitchen, easy access, all the essentials. Good internet connection. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Visiting Mt. Rainier

Dan's Place was very clean, welcoming, and had everything we could want/need. The hot tub was fun to enjoy and we also enjoyed the variety of hot teas. The location feels fairly remote but is great for getting to the park!

We enjoyed our stay here in this cozy cottage. It was clean, neat and had a washer/dryer. The yard was big with tall trees all around. It's only 5 miles from the entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park.

Convenient location to Rainier National Park

National Parks are busy this summer (2022) and the convenient location to a quick early entry into the park is just what we were looking in a place. It was nice to return in the evening to a relaxing quiet location. I hope to rent this place again.

Excellent value

Dan’s place is what every rental property should be! From a super stocked modern kitchen to great indoor/outdoor space for hanging out, this place has it all! Icing on the cake is how close it is to the national park.

Loved staying at "Dan's Place"!! Just outside the entrance to park. Roomy, comfortable beds, large kitchen/bathroom and a hot tub after a long day of hiking!!

Perfect in every way!

Very clean. Very close to the entrance of the national park within 5 miles. Very well appointed Kitchen most everything you need. Comfortable beds, I’ve already recommended this place to friends. Would stay at Dan’s place again in a heartbeat!

Dan’s place was a perfect base for our Mt Rainier visit- within 10 min to the entrance. The home was clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with extras like spices, hot chocolate and pancake mix. It was nice to sit out by the fire after hiking all day. Having a washer and dryer was a plus as this was part of a multiple location road trip. Excellent communication with Madeline. We would definitely stay at Dan’s place again if we get back to Ashford. Thanks for a great stay!

We loved this cabin, it was perfect for our visit to Mount Rainier National Park. It was very clean, beds were comfortable and had all we needed. The location was great too, close proximity to the park and restaurants. The property manager was very responsive in answering our questions and there is a nice guide inside that helped to inform us of things do to in the area. Also it has a beautiful outside area with a fire pit and cornhole boards which got a lot of use. I would highly recommend this place!

Mom's getaway

Since our college kids are all away, we like to get together for a girl's weekend at different places a couple of times a year. We chose this cabin for a cozy weekend to craft and connect with some peace and quiet. It was absolutely PERFECT! Great spot to relax and also a good location to explore Mt. Rainier. I highly recommended this cabin.

Great retreat to visit Mt Rainier

We stayed for a couple days with another couple. Perfect location to meet and hike Paradise area and visit Longmere area. Loved that they had a hot tub after a long day of hiking :-) Place was clean and comfy. The only issue we had was that we hadn't heard how to check in from the property manager but she replied quickly once I texted her number instead of texting within VRBO. Thanks Maddy for sharing Dan's favorite spot!
