The cabin provided an excellent getaway for our family vacation. Our six year old loved the board games and the novelty of the loft, but we were uncertain if we were allowed to use the playground at the park for members down the road. Overall we had a great stay with lots of short and sweet adventures that the whole family enjoyed.

Long weekend getaway

The location was great for activities in the park and also just to relax and getaway from it all. The house itself had everything i needed... making full use of the wood burning stove. Would definitely stay here again.

Great getaway!

The cabin was well-kept, cute, and wonderful for a couple's getway. The layout of the space was great, the fireplace was wonderful for relaxing and cuddling. Do make sure to bring groceries, though.

Rainier Getaway

Amazing place to get away for the weekend, very responsive owner. Fireplace was great, stream out back provided a nice ambient noise. Clean and had everything you needed.

Perfect for a weekend getaway

The cabin was in a nice and quiet location, away from the main road. It was clean and tidy with plenty of cooking amenities provided. The view of the mountains from the living room was a big plus!

Perfect spot!

This is a perfect place to stay to enjoy the beautiful Mt. Rainier National Park! The cabin is close to the park entrance so it’s very convenient. It has everything you need and Billie is quick to respond if you have any questions. She is awesome! I had a wonderful time and really enjoyed my stay here.

We were unable to stay in this cute cabin due to wildfire activity blocking access, but Billie could not have been a more amazing host and communicator! We hope to return soon and see the stars from this cozy cabin! ✨

Convenient to the mountain!

Small/difficult bedroom. Slept on pullout. Just not right for 70+ folks. A Keurig would be nice. Peaceful setting though.

Little Red Cabin

Quiet cabin. The two cabins on both sides were empty at this time. Cozy place, but the steps up to the loft were a bit noisy. We appreciated the gifts of snacks for our hikes into Mount Rainier. The road it was situated next to, wasn't busy, but when we left to go south, the road closed sign didn't specify that it was closed before the road split where we were going so we traveled 25 miles out of our way and had to turn around and take another route.

Lovely spot near Mt Rainier

This cozy cabin was perfect for a night near Mt Rainier. The patio, fire pit area, and pebble beach by the creek were so inviting for relaxation that I wish I had booked it for two nights. The only negative was that there was no coffee at all. I used to always bring my own whenever I rented a place, but over the years have been pleasantly surprised that there is always something to make coffee when I stay at this kind of place. So of course the one time I didn't bring anything... Thankfully there is a coffee shop a 15 min drive away! Otherwise everything was perfect - clean, comfortable, everything you need to make a simple meal.

The Bare Minimum

Overall, the cabin, quaint as it appeared in the pictures, was not very nice. In fact, we thought it was ridiculous for the price compared to other VRBO's we've rented in the past. The screen door was full of holes and did not latch. The spiral staircase up to the loft was quite rickety and the bed once up there was way too small. Popcorn was all over the floor and in the sofa bed we ended up sleeping in. The neighborhood along the road of the property was hillbilly hell with many broken down cars and people missing teeth. Maybe Ashford has no reputable dentists - Or maybe there are other reasons for the dental shortcomings. Could've swore we heard banjo music We did hear dogs barking in the night. Would NOT recommend this property.

Best Honeymoon

My husband and I, stayed at this cute cabin for our honeymoon, and we had a great time. It was super cozy and the neighborhood is nice and quiet. We are already missing and wishing we had stayed for longer. Billie was an awesome host too!! Highly recommend it.

Cozy little cabin in great location

We very much enjoyed our stay in this cozy cabin. Nothing fancy, but it had all we needed. After a long hike, we enjoyed the shaded deck listening to the sounds of the stream nearby and the variety of birds.

Great place for a short stay near Mt Ranier

This cabin was very close to Mt Ranier and easy to find. Quit and in a nice community. Good for a short stay to see the National Park.
