“El lugar es idílico, la habitación muy amplia, pero nos toco la parte antigua y el cuarto de baño fatal. La cisterna sin presión, la ducha y el lavabo imposible nivelar el agua, o caliente o frío!!! El secador de estos de pared q no servia para nada!! Me dieron otro. De 5 noches 4 mal, ya q al final nos cambiaron de habitación. Es una lástima, ya,q el lugar aunque un poco retirado es una maravilla.”

“Great room with cooking faculities, staff were super helpfull and welcoming. The hotel is in a great location which is a short and pleasant walk into Cambridge centre. You get what you pay for at this hotel which is an all round luxurious hotel experience.”

“On arrival greeted by reception as if they’d been having a bad day and letting it show. Hotel is pleasant enough but I don’t expect luxury what I do expect a comfortable bed. My expectations were not met here. Easily the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. Mattress must have been 20 years old. I resorted to pulling out the sofa bed at 2am it was that bad. Better but not a great alternative. Maybe I got unlucky. ”

“The rooms overall were very clean except for the carpet which was nasty looking. The hallways outside of the room were not very appealing nor was the building itself. Mostly the staff made up for this.”

“The property really needs some maintenance to it. Very dated all round. Champneys used to hold a high standard name as a spa hotel but over the years it’s really lost its touch. Was disappointed with the cleanliness of the spa facilities. Was in the spa for 2ish hours and not a single member of staff cleaning anything. Mainly the floors which were full of grit/hair/dirt. Edging of pool areas have algae. Really just needs a deep clean. We didn’t stay for dinner however we had breakfast...

“Primer día nos tuvieron que cambiar de habitación 2 veces por diferentes causas ( no funcionaba la tv y ventana rota) todos los días teníamos que bajar a recepción por que no funcionaba la tarjeta para abrír la puerta y el último día llegamos a la habitación y no había toallas con lo cual toco bajar una segunda vez. Ningún miembro del hotel sabía algo de español y parece que les molestará que no les entendieras por hablartrrápido y un poco más de cortesía tampoco les vendría mal. Conclusión lo...

“Hotel agradable, localizado cerca de la estación de tren y con una parada de autobus justo en frente. Personal también agradable y dispuesto a ayudar cuando necesario. Buen restaurante,ofreciendo una buena selección para el desayuno y una carta interesante y variada para las comidas. Habitación cómoda y de buen tamaño pero la cama necesita un colchón nuevo.”

“The place feels more like a halfway house than a hotel. No shampoo or soap in the bathroom, room is tiny, bed is absolutely awful. Check on was basic and the whole thing feels poorly handled. Stay elsewhere if you can, the only plus is it’s near the station, but yeah, it’s a dump. ”

“The staff was very kind and helpful, the location was easy to find, with the Luton point and markets near to it. The neighbourhood was kind of noist at night, but there was no feeling of unsafety even that and we arrived after 10:00 pm”
