Your whole family's hideaway near Yellowstone
Cave Falls Hideaway was built for the trips you'll talk about for years — the family reunion, the multi-generational vacation, the group fishing weekend, the snowmobile crew, the wedding party that needs somewhere to crash together. Five bedrooms, three full bathrooms, a kitchen built to host a feast, and enough living space that no one has to whisper or wait in line for coffee.
It's a hideaway in the best way: your whole group, your whole week, your private corner of the forest — tucked into the trees just outside Yellowstone, far from crowds and inflated nightly rates.
Wake up to pink mountain skies and fresh air. Spend the day in three of America's most beautiful national parks. Come home to a 10-person hot tub, a roaring fire pit under a star-soaked sky, and beds that are actually comfortable.
Why guests keep coming back
50+ five-star reviews from families, fishing groups, ski parties, and reunions. Our professional cleaners disinfect and shine every corner before you arrive.

Location: the quiet side of Yellowstone
We sit on the west side of the park, away from the crowds and inflated rates of West Yellowstone town. The hideaway is named after Cave Falls, the hidden southwest entrance to Yellowstone that's only accessible from the back roads passing right by us — a Yellowstone experience most travelers never find.
From the cabin:
Cave Falls, Yellowstone — 20 min (a hidden southwest entrance most travelers never reach)
Mesa Falls — 20 min (one of Idaho's most spectacular waterfalls)
Harriman State Park — 30 min (wildlife, hiking, cross-country skiing)
Island Park — 30 min (world-class ATV and snowmobile trails)
Yellowstone West Entrance — 45 min
Grand Teton National Park — minutes away on the back side
Jackson, Wyoming — 75 min
Grand Targhee Resort — about 1 hr (skiing, mountain biking)
Ashton (groceries, dining) — 15 min
Idaho Falls Airport — 1 hr
Jackson Hole Airport — 1 hr 45 min
A four-season hideaway
Summer: Yellowstone, Grand Teton, hiking, river floating, canoeing, fishing, horseback riding, climbing, scenic drives.
Fall: Elk rut, fall colors, hunting season, quiet park visits without summer crowds.
Winter: World-class snowmobile and ATV trails minutes away, cross-country skiing at Harriman, sledding, ice fishing, downhill at Grand Targhee.
Spring: The famous Henry's Fork salmonfly hatch (legendary among fly fishers), wildlife viewing, peaceful pre-season Yellowstone trips.
Golf course minutes away for the warm-weather golfers in the group.
