Excelente desayuno y camas cómodas
Muy bien. Es un hotel está muy bien ubicado, es antiguo con personalidad. Bien cuidado aunque las personas alérgicas pueden ser sensibles al olor de las alfombras. Las camas son cómodas. Por el frío en las noches y el cuidado ambiental, las habitaciones económicas no tienen aire acondicionado, te ofrecen abanico y abrir ventana. El desayuno es excelente y es ofrecido por meseros muy amables.

El hotel es súper viejo, la habitación es incomoda muy pequeña, ruidosa, huele a humedad y no tiene aire acondicionado, punto a favor la ubicación es excelente, el personal amable y el desayuno es bueno

The Mountain Chalet is a quaint older hotel, we keep our hotel clean and stay on top of the maintenance. We have a variety of types of rooms from Deluxe with fireplaces and balconies to our economy rooms and we advertise that our economy rooms are best for people who will be spending their time enjoying the outdoors as they are small. We have many guests that appreciate our offering this option as it is great for people on a budget. You must have missed our fabulous full breakfast and other amenities such as pool, hot tub, sauna and our location right in downtown Aspen and next to skiing.

En general el hotel es bueno y los dueños son excelentes el problema es que es mejor reservar directamente con el hotel ya que a través de terceros siempre te van asignar las habitaciones que son algo bulliciosas por su ubicación

El hotel es antiguo pero lo tienen bien, las habitaciones estan bien pero si tomas de las economicas no vas a estar muy contento son chicas y muy ruidosas , el desayuno es bueno y completo . La ubicación es excelente, la gente en recepcion es amable .

Gracias por estar con nosotros en el Mountain Chalet y por su critica. Tenemos cuartos mas grandes tambien, el cuarto que tuviste era de categoria economy. Si vuelvas a nuestro hotel esperamos que investigas un cuarto de los mas grandes hasta los deluxe con chimenea y balcon. Si regresas al hotel llamanos y podemos discutir las diferentes opciones. Gracias

Excelente opción en Aspen
Muy lindo hotel, tanto espacios comunes como habitación. Excelente atención en recepción y desayuno, muy cálida Jazmín . Excelente desayuno, con jugo fresco, natural, plato caliente servido a gusto en la mesa, además del buffet muy completo. Ubicado al pie de la mintaña y cerca de los restaurantes. Linda piscina y área de relax al aire libre. Garaje subterráneo. Solo encontramos que en el garaje había una pérdida de un caño, con olor desagradable.

It was walkable to restaurants and hiking trails. It was nice that we could park the car in the garage. The hotel is a little outdated, our bathroom shower was a little clogged took awhile to drain the water.

A little bit shabby due to the age of the building and amenities like the pool and hot tub, but the price is DIVINE compared with the next door neighbors. Spend 10 times as much and get nicer facilities, sure. As for proximity to gondola, shopping, dining? Unbeatable, truly. There are $50 million homes up the street that are a longer walk to the gondola.

I liked everything. Everyone was really helpful, just something to keep in mind.... it'll be nice if employees understand that guess might need quiet time. The have a really LOUD lunch at the tv room without even care about me staying there. They kept on coming and going laughing and shouting... I understand the have to have a nice working environment but please provide them a place to do that and not in guess common areas.... this was a really really really UNPLEASANT experience, it lasted for almost 2 hours until I guess their shift was over past noon. :( this never happened to me in any hotel before (worse than a hostel! And that's the reason I do not go to hostels:( I espect that hotel rules about quiet are more "real"

The hotel is unique and has an interesting history. The breakfast was good as was the gym and hot tub. The hotel is in need of renovations which I was told will begin soon under new ownership. Our room was old and was rather stuffy with poor ventilation. The staff was absolutely fantastic. Very friendly and responsive. When the shuttle was running late for our airport transfer, the owner delivered us to the airport in his personal car even though this delayed his appearance at a private event at the hotel. The customer service sets this hotel apart from many others.

Hey the location is great, but the hotel is starting to fall into disrepair. Is it really worth $500 a night, not really, but it's sometimes the only option in town. I think they are finally going to undergo major reno soon. It needs it!

Amazing hospitality
I had a wonderful week-long stay at the chalet. My friends and I were picked up by the hotel shuttle and enjoyed the complimentary breakfasts. Also, they could accommodate an early check-in and hold our bags for a day. Hospitality was great, and I would love to stay again!

Excellent Stay
Excellent stay in a quaint and cozy hotel. Perfect location to slopes, restaurants and shopping. Staff were very friendly! Needs a cosmetic update but glad we chose Mountain Chalet.

The staff was extremely courteous, nice and professional. However the hotel is in poor conditions, the bathroom was falling apart, rusted, water leaking and the door from the bathroom was also in bad conditions. I could hear the people next door talking. The WiFi was also terrible, the only way for it to work was by being in the lobby. We were expecting something better for the price. Definitely will not go back and would not recommend.

Ready for the remodel
Hotel is about to undergoe a massive remodel. There is charm to the original 50s vibe but it only goes so far. Rooms were not comfortable - hard to get temp right and get it dark.
