“The cottage was comfortable and well set up. We will definitely consider going back: it's a great distance for a weekend getaway from Halifax, and the amenities are nice (that sauna!). The only issue we found (because we went to curl up and read books together!) was that the lighting in the main space was not great: a couple of floor lamps would have been great. ”

“Wow! Whalesback Cottage was the Nova Scotia oceanside escape that we were looking for. Our own private space – no traffic … no crowds … and the only sounds were the waves hitting the rocks. “Great sea view from the new deck. No railings, so adults only. New bathroom was appreciated by all. New 2nd toilet in the laundry room looks like it belongs on the space station. New small BBQ. Dishwasher is a little puzzle as you need to attach it to the sink; some written/photo instructions might be useful for those who have never seen this before.Owners communicated quickly and even dropped something off all the way from Halifax when requested.
