“The bathroom had mold. The ceiling tiles are broken. The room really needs a refurb. The main door is broken and sometimes doesn't open or opens very slowly. I've stayed at much better maintained premier inns in the past so this was a huge disappointment.”

“Cooks Flat is a great find in Wrexham! Tranquil, peaceful and beautiful walks on the property. What a treat to stay on a private estate and visit the Victorian kitchen and games room. I appreciated the welcome gifts and hospitality from the hosts too. Would definitely stay again next time I’m in the area.”

Our room overlooked the beautiful garden at the back of the property, adjacent to private car parking, and a gentle stroll down to the town. We plan to stay again, truly a delightful experience.”

“Joules and her Son were absolutely wonderful hosts. We couldn’t have been made to feel any more welcome and we had absolutely everything we needed for our stay. The breakfast was outstanding - lots of choice and super fresh and tasty. Joules’ baking was a great surprise treat, a lovely touch in our room on arrival and the Brownies later in our stay were out of this world! “We really enjoyed our stay at The Little George! Geoff was super kind and helpful, showed us to our room. The room was lovely and spacious and very clean, lovely bathroom with a big shower (the included toiletries smelled amazing too!). Well stocked minibar, teas and coffees etc. WiFi was very good too, easy to connect and fast, which is needed in this area as mobile data signal can be a bit iffy.
