“Beautiful cabin in beautiful setting. Cabin was well furnished, had well stocked kitchen, and modern amenities. There were lots of attractions within 30 minute, scenic drives from the cabin such as Tanglewood, Monument Mountain, and other Berkshire and Columbia County attractions. Avid cyclists will find smooth roads with good shoulders and light traffic. As noted n another review, there is a rail line about one mile from the cabin, thus inevitable noise on occasion. “This loveley cottage is exactly as it looks online. Relaxing by the stream was so peaceful and we saw local wildlife. Very close to Woodstock which is a cute town with lots of restaurants. We came up to visit Northlake State park which was 30 min away. Jane is also very nice host.”

“We really liked everything; they installed and unfolded a chair-bed for our child upon our arrival. The hosts were very friendly and suggested places to go and relax. The whole family really enjoyed it, especially after the hustle and bustle of the city. The evening by the fire was magical.”

“Fantastic cottage! Neighbors hardly around and deck large and comfy. The enclosed porch was huge and allowed card game fun! My 92 year old Mom was craving quiet and peaceful lake vibes and this cottage was perfect. New large Roku tv was great! Comfy couches and well equipped kitchen! The owner John was quick to respond to questions before we got there so I knew what to bring. Easy parking and no step in. THANKS John!”
