This property is in a word amazing. The location is wonderful. Easy access to all things UGA and Athens. The space is far greater than the pictures represent. Plenty of places to sleep, lounge, relax, and enjoy. The owners are very accessible and the property is well maintained. Honestly, i would go as far to say the property is under priced. We will always try and stay here when visiting Athens.

Wonderful weekend stay. The house was very clean, well stocked with everything we needed, and in a great location. The host was responsive and easy to communicate with, which made the stay even better. We would absolutely recommend this property and would happily stay here again.

The number of bedrooms and entertainment space was the main selling point for me, to which it lived up to. However the house is in need of maintenance which I found inconvenient. The heat in the lower level wasn't working, to which the owner promptly addressed within 24 hours, which was great. Other issues included; The power in several outlets in the kitchen didn't work, which appeared to be due to a popped circuit breaker. The built in microwave didn't work. While a temporary microwave was provided. It wasn't in an area that had a plug, thus I had to move furniture to find a place for the microwave to work. One of the bedrooms only had 1 working power outlet, which was connected to the TV. Thus, you had to unplug the TV in order to charge a phone. While ice and snow doesn't happen very often in GA, no salt was provided to treat the ice. I requested salt from the owner, who said it would be delivered the next day, but it never arrived. 2 of my guest slipped and fell on the ice. I had to go out and buy my own salt and spend hours breaking up and removing the ice. For the price paid and associated liability of icy walkways, this should have been addressed prior to my arrival.

A group of us stayed here because we needed some extra. room to celebrate Christmas with our family and it was PERFECT. We had 4 young kids & the game room, bunk room, & theater provided all the entertainment they could need. It was extremely spacious so we were very comfortable. Check in/out was also very easy... Would definitely stay here again!

Family Reunion in 5 Points

This lovely home in Five Points was the perfect place for us to have a family reunion with our Athens Family. Kate and Luke were outstanding with communication and clear instructions about the check-in process. The home was perfect with the many bedrooms and living space for our family to hang out and visit. We were able to have several family dinners at the large circular dining table. We come to Athens every couple years to visit family in the immediate area and look forward to staying at the Classic City Retreat again.

Amazing location in Athens!!

5 stars across the board! Stayed w/our entire family (4 adult kids partners) for UGA grad weekend. The house met all expectations for space, layout, cleanliness and location. Accommodated a grad party and afforded plenty of quality family time upstairs; downstairs in the game room; and out side. Super convenient walking distance to 5 points (restaurants/bars) and quick/easy drive to town/campus. Highly recommend this location for football/sports weekends, graduation, etc. Kate & Luke were attentive highly communicative and attentive hosts.

Great house you never want to leave

Our extended family came for a UGA game. The house is laid out well and very nicely appointed with lots of extras. Plenty of parking. A 10 minute walk to Five Points and less than two miles to Sanford. Plenty of space for our dog. Kate was timely in responding and terrific to work with. We will stay here again for sure.

This is a beautiful home in a very quiet neighborhood. The house has great spaces for large group gatherings for eating, playing, watching tv/movies. Very conveniently located near UGA. The owner was excellent at communicating.

Fantastic stay

This was secondary home base for family in town for graduation. This home is beautiful and is exactly as listed with plenty of space for all the breakout activities for all the varying age groups. Of course the pool table and theatre room were the biggest hits. This home was lovely and very well stocked. There was no shortage of linen, TP, and kitchenware. 10/10 Just two notes for large groups: 1: If your stay will have a large group try to consolidate some of the vehicles. We were able to get 6 in the driveway and one in the back parking pad. It got a little squirrelly when people wanted to make the inevitable store runs or an early/late departure/arrival. 2. The home has a french door refrigerator. If you have a large group. I'd say bring a large cooler or two to help with the overflow of beverages that will surely happen.
