The house is absolutely gorgeous -- you can tell that the host takes great pride in their home. Was well stocked, very clean, and the communication with the host was super responsive. Would definitely stay here again!

What an amazing property and host! Enjoyed a beautiful snowfall during our stay, seen some deer and enjoyed our family Christmas just as it should be. Everything was great and we will certainly be back again next year!

Place was great and more secluded than some other places in HH I've stayed. Nice little walking paths and a pond to hang out and do some fishing. Kitchen is very spacious and there are plenty of large beds!

Absolutely stunningly beautiful Lodge and private, tranquil location with everything meticulously planned for and taken care of for us- from a fully stocked kitchen, game room with activities for all ages and plenty of beds and baths for our group with plenty of common area spaces to spread out. Even firewood was available on the deck for easy purchase and access. Plus so many options for hiking, activities and outings in the region! We are already making plans to come back next year!

This lodge was a dream! It’s even more beautiful in person than the pictures show if that’s even possible. Clean, well-maintained, in the perfect spot for a getaway with a large group. The indoor and outdoor fireplace was one of my favorite parts. We drank coffee while listening to the birds on the porch, Took nighttime walks down to the fountain in the pond, and had s’mores at the fire pit under the twinkling lights. But most importantly, we had an intimate wedding with our closest friends and family there and it was everything we had hoped for. Just an absolute perfect weekend. we can’t wait to come back !

The house was beautiful! Big enough for all our family. We were looking forward to fishing in the pond but there was too much algae. Overall, a wonderful time celebrating our parents 60th wedding anniversary!

This was a great place for our extended family - lots of room, and plenty of seating for all. We really enjoyed the foosball and pool table, plus sitting around the outdoor fireplace in the evening.

The house was great! We had 18 family members ranging from age 2 - 91. There were so many bedrooms that we even left one unused. There were plenty of bathrooms too. The kitchen opened to the main room which was nice so we were always together. The wrap around deck was awesome for the 2 & 4 year old boys who rode their bikes around and around literally every day for hours. They loved it! The playset was great for them too. There is a small pond on the property that was used for some fishing. The basement was big and had a great table for lots of games. The large dining room table worked great too! We went to Hocking Hills for some hiking, which was gorgeous. We also went into town to stroll and hit a few small shops and did some antique shopping too! We had a great time!

Our 4-night stay at River Rock Lodge was wonderful in every way. Three generations of our family traveled from within Ohio and 4 other states to be together. The lodge is beautiful and has a thoughtful layout for large groups such as ours. The amenities are generous and we enjoyed basketball, corn hole, fires in the fireplace and fire pit, puzzles, pool, games, and relaxing. The kitchen is well equipped and the space is perfect. Throughout our stay we commented on what an excellent property this was and how the hosts had really thought of everything. All 18 of us wished were were staying longer!

Outstanding property

This house is awesome! The property looks just like the photos, the deck on the back of the house is enormous, the porch on the front stretches the length of the building, and everything is beautifully thought out. Rarely have I seen as many dishes, glasses, cups as there are in this rental. Two coffee makers so that you can make two separate pots of coffee at a time, a dining room table big enough for everyone, everything was perfect.We will stay here again with our big group of women friends!

Home away from home

This is truly a home away from home. It has everything you need. It is an oasis giving plenty of privacy offering peace and serenity. All the area’s attractions are easily accessible for plenty of exploring.or there is plenty to do if you just want to hangout at home.

Perfect!

This was a family celebration for my husband’s 70th birthday. It was absolutely beautiful Even the photos online couldn’t really show what an amazing place this is. We had such a variety of ages. Everyone had plenty of space to get together but also to retreat abit when they needed to rest. We found plenty to do in the area and made some very precious memories I highly recommend !!!
