Red Hickory -Cabaña-Baño privado externo

Ubicado justo en el medio de aproximadamente 8 acres de MADERAS, encontrarás el Hickory Rojo. Una acogedora cabina de 1008 pies cuadrados con una sala de estar abierta, área de comedor y un área de loft abierta. Esta cabina incluye una nueva cama queen size en el desván, con un futón plegable y un sofá plegable para dormir cómodamente 1 pareja o una familia pequeña. La cocina está totalmente equipada con platos, utensilios, ollas y sartenes para las noches que desea cocinar "en casa" y acurrucarse frente a la estufa de leña. ¿Estás en la parrilla? Great place, even better than the pictures. This place has the best kitchen I’ve ever had at a vacation rental. It is clean and well thought out. I was afraid the loft bedroom would be hit but it wasn’t at all. The driveway is steep but also kind of fun and exciting to get to the charming secluded cabin in the woods that is out of a story book. 30 minutes away from hocking hills state park.

Highly recommended!

We will definitely come back to this cabin. Very clean cabin and they have everything you may need. We grilled out every night and had the best time. Also pet friendly!

Extremely Peaceful

An amazing secluded property. It was very hot when we stayed but the cabin was shaded by all the mature trees. We were able to sit on the deck and enjoy nature. The cabin is beautiful and the owners thought of everything. The only issue we had was the internet kept rebooting one evening, but it wasn’t really a bother as we weren’t there for technology, it was more about being disconnected and relaxing. The owner is very responsive. Would highly recommend this to friends and family. We would definitely rent this cabin again.

The house was perfect! Great location, far enough but not too far. I love that it was tucked in the trees up a hill from the main road. We took our dog and 2 year old, so distance from traffic was ideal. I was worried about my son on the stairs, but found the owner had a baby gate in the storage room! I love they were prepared!The deck has been adjusted, it caught me off guard at first, but the huge flight of stairs was removed, it only has two steps with the hot tub right outside the door. I really liked that adjustment, again because we had our 2 years old who still hasn't mastered stairs. Ideally it's a couples cottage as listed, but we don't need much space, we liked the coziness for our little family. More than enough kitchen amenities, two types of grilling, large hot tub, towels and blankets were all provided. The sofa had a pull out sofa which was perfect for movie night in the living room. There's a trail behind the house, unfortunately we didn't get to venture out much due to the weather. Really loved this place, highly recommend!!! (Forgot to take more photos before we left) Other than the deck adjustment, exactly as photos show in listing!I had a few questions while there, and the owner was very quick to respond and very helpful!

Lovely, isolated cabin getaway, conveniently nestled between multiple state parks and recreation areas. Well stocked kitchen/laundry for easy functionality. Very clean and comfortable interior environment. Would return in a heartbeat if the following shortcomings were addressed: 1) safety concerns with lack of sufficient ballister spacing on staircase; 2) deficient, non-commercial grade gas grill difficult to light and in need of cleaning/repair/replacement; 3) poor and insufficient landscaping around the perimeter of the cabin made the immediate surroundings impassible, wet (almost drain swampy around hot tub decking), and messy (very limited access for pet potty breaks apart from gravel driveway). A small investment in professional landscaping would pay huge dividends in aesthetic appeal and functionality -- some better drainage, stone terracing, and some shrub/flower beds to create an inviting and functional 15' perimeter.

Fantastic

Upon arrival we were greeted with a property that was clean and well appointed with thoughtful amenities. The deck was very nice and the hot tub was clean and in good working order. The location was perfect as it was secluded but close enough to everything we enjoy in the Hocking Hills area. This is by far the nicest cabin we’ve stayed at in the area. We will definitely be returning.

Magical Experience

This was our first time in Hocking Hills, and this property was the absolute perfect place to stay for it. Wonderful location where you have your own small slice of nature, but close enough to town to not be a hassle. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need, the hot tub was amazing, and it was very cozy. Definitely plan to be back!

Hocking Hills Getaway

We really enjoyed our Hocking Hills getaway at Red Hickory this week. The beautiful and well-equipped cabin was just the right size for me, my wife and two dogs. The peaceful and secluded environment made for some quiet and dark nights, just perfect for good sleep after some long days on the trails.
