The details of how to check in were lost with the multiple messages about staying longer. So I missed the outside check in procedure and when I called the number given I was sent directly to voicemail. Thankfully someone let us in and we figured it out. The whole place smells like smoke and is very dated. The unit itself was very dirty. We found a cockroach in the fridge, missing cushions on the couch and stains on all furniture and rugs. There was also missing lightbulbs in multiple rooms. There were 5 of us and we were given two towels and wash cloths. The third bedroom also has no privacy. It has glass doors and the windows open without screens. (A mom’s nightmare from the 12th floor- so my teenager stayed in that room!). Upon talking to the company they promised to bring towels but it didn’t happen until the next morning. After a sleepless night of pot smell and noises we were going to go home instead of staying the second night. however the company said they had another unit downstairs we could try. We moved as it was a full 3 bedrooms and much cleaner than the first unit so I was thankful for that. The pool area was also very dirty and dated so we wouldn’t let the kids swim, which is why we booked this property in the first place. Communication done through the app was easy but without the ability to move units we would have had to cut our trip short.
