The rental was overall clean and about half were comfortable for the majority of our stay. However, there were a few concerns. The lack of window coverage allowed for light to pour in, especially in the front bedroom because we were unable to turn off the porch light. The front bedroom also was freezing compared to the rest of the main floor. We thought the first night was because we didn’t see the second thermostat that was set to 60 degrees (temps in the 30s outside) so we turned it up but it was still just as cold. The description of the rental said there were six bedrooms and described that you would have to walk through bedroom five in order to reach bedroom six. This would imply that bedroom five has a door on it somewhere rather than describing a bed in a shared space. Unfortunately, those sleeping in bedroom five were awoken anytime someone used the kitchen at the bottom of the steps. A smoke alarm also started going off due to a battery issue. They offered us a late checkout due to the smoke alarm issue, but I told them that didn’t work with our travel plans. They offered 10% off a future stay. I let them know about the concerns we had with their place (a few more than I listed here) and how we wouldn’t staying there again. The response I got from the owners when sharing these concerns at the end of the stay would not leave me to believe they will be corrected. If these things are issues for you, I would look elsewhere. If not, it should meet your expectations.

We had an amazing stay! The property was very clean and spacious, and everything looked exactly like the photos. The beds were comfortable, and we loved the charm of the old house paired with the modern renovations. You can really tell a lot of care and detail went into the updates. There were 11 of us, and we still had plenty of space to spread out and relax. A big thank you to the hostess for the excellent step-by-step communication throughout our stay. We would absolutely rent again!

Great stay for Big South

Our group of 10 had a very comfortable stay for the Big South tournament. Four families stayed here together, and we appreciated having lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. The large kitchen island was a great for feeding players and families during the busy weekend. The host was very responsive throughout the stay and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. Parking for 4 cars in the driveway was perfect. Fifteen minutes to GWCC made it a convenient location for our time in Atlanta.

Perfect for our needs

This is a very nicely renovated home that is perfectly setup for rental. We needed a place that could hold 3 couples, 2 singles, and 3 small children. This place worked perfectly for us. The neighborhood seems to be "in transition" as much of the Atlanta area is. So you have a mix of new homes, renovated older homes and some homes that are pretty rough. The location is very convenient to the airport (15 minutes) and central Atlanta. You can be on the freeway in about 3 minutes from the house. The long driveway is very convenient and we had plenty of room for our 3 vehicles with room to spare.The inside of the house is a pleasant surprise. You walk in the front door and immediately see that everything has been updated. This was obviously originally a much smaller house but over time they have expanded outward and upward. All of the bathrooms and kitchen look like an HGTV show. Even with all of us in the house we didn't run out of hot water for showers, either.

Beautiful and spacious home

Stayed here with six adults and one teen. The home is beautiful, just as shown in the listing photos. Easily Uber’ed to downtown and Mercedes Benz stadium multiple times. As some reviews have indicated, it’s a neighborhood that is being revamped, with a number of newly remodeled homes like this one interspersed with those that have not yet been. But that had no impact on our stay — will happily stay again in the future!

Underwhelming but good communication

We were disappointed in how much was missing at check-in- kitchen towels, dish soap, sponge, dryer sheets, dishwasher tabs, forks!- and by how difficult it was to heat the house. In spite of the owners trying to tell us the HVAC system was running fine, the two front bedrooms were at 63 degrees if we closed the doors. They did drop off space heaters but the back thermostat repeatedly reset to 50 degrees. It was frustrating and uncomfortable. The neighborhood is not great but that’s apparent in the listing. We didn’t love that it’s so close to one of the country’s largest federal prisons either. Not a bad house but we will not go back.

Enough space to fit us all!

This place was great. Not too far from the city or the airport. There was enough space to accommodate our very large family for my sister’s graduation weekend! The space was very clean, fully stocked and had lots of sitting space, great parking and a spacious yard! The only downside was three of the televisions not working and one being where the children were. They were willing to send someone over to fix it. We decided because of the time we were only there for the weekend so it was okay! I give this place 10/10!

This house is a gem! Our trip was a disaster due to the hurricane and our conference getting canceled after we arrived. However the house was perfect and was the only thing on our trip that exceeded expectations. We will be recommending it to all our coworkers and friends that travel to Atlanta! 👍👍

Will use again

This property is as advertised. The bedrooms were very large and family reported their beds slept well. Bathrooms are updated. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed to prepare a meal. You will need a car to get around but when my husband went for his morning walk he walked to a family dollar near by. It is located in a up and coming neighborhood with lots of renovations happening. Everything worked with no problems. They checked on us to make sure everything was fine and to see if we needed anything. It was my first ABNB experience and it was a great one. Will definitely use again when in the area.

Fun stay!

This was a fun stay with three generations of 13 of us staying at the house for Thanksgiving. The area isn't the greatest, but we felt safe and that didn't bother us at all. We had some issues with getting ahold of the company and never received the code, therefore couldn't get in until a couple of hours late. We also had a little bit of weird communication confirming the wrong house, etc. After that, all was good. A few notes: the King bed on main with private bath is the non-private bath for the downstairs as well. Also, the heat does not work well in the two rooms with Kings. Turning up the heat, caused the other side of the house to be very hot. So if you have anyone sensitive to temps, be aware it's hard to keep it consistent. They did bring over a dozen donuts to apologize. But other than that, the house is big, with a lot of comfortable beds. The kitchen is a good size and it was really great for the 13 of us!
