Atlantic Beach Classic Family Cottage

Atlantic Beach, Carolina del Norte. Y la mejor lectura de siesta / libro en el mundo se encuentra mientras descansa en la cama colgante del porche delantero. También hay un gran porche lateral, terraza trasera y ducha al aire libre.

Cuando no esté en la amplia playa de arena suave (a menos de tres minutos a pie), disfrute de las atracciones cercanas, como andar en bicicleta en varias partes de la isla Bogue, recorrer el histórico Parque Estatal Fort Macon, hacer excursiones en barco (o su propio barco) al Cabo Lookout National Seashore and Lighthouse y otras islas cercanas, ver conciertos semanales en Fort Macon, visitar la ciudad colonial de Beaufort y sus paisajes y restaurantes frente al mar, el acuario de Carolina del Norte y los restaurantes y vida nocturna de Morehead City, saboreando una bebida Sunset en el bar ubicado en Al final del cercano muelle de pesca de Oceana, que ofrece una vista panorámica de la costa, o actividades acuáticas como kayak, piragüismo y surf.

I actually wanted a house right on the water and from the picture that I saw the water. I assume that the house was directly on the water or not a roll of houses in between but because it rained the whole weekend I was there. It really didn’t matter. The house was beautiful. Everything was clean. I just wish I could have text the host instead of having to go on the verbal site and message every time I’m not computer savvy so it would take me a few minutes to get to the spot that I needed to message her.

Nice place!

We had a blast. Everything you need is at this house, easy access to the beach, and quiet, safe neighborhood. You feel like you are at a family home, comfortable, clean, spacious, and close to stores and amenities if you need.

Family Wedding Weekend - Oct 6-9 2023

This property is as gorgeous and comfortable as the pictures show. It truly has an upscale, classic beach feel. There are three ensuites – the bedroom on the first floor can be converted to an ensuite using the pocket doors. It's not oceanfront but does have an ocean view from the front porch. There is plenty of parking – which seems to be at a premium in this neighborhood. Hannah, the owner, was overseas during our stay but was very proactive, making the check-in process extraordinarily easy. She was just a text away if there were any problems - which there wasn't. I highly recommend staying there.

Fun Family Reunion

Great beach house, great location!

Our family had a wonderful vacation at the beach. The location could not have been better with the ocean access across the street. The house was clean and well stocked. We really enjoyed spending time on the porches. Thank you Hannah!

Great House, Great Owners

VERY nice house with just the right amount of supplies (such as in the kitchen). Very nice deck areas and great privacy in individual bedrooms and bathrooms. All members of our group of 7 loved the house and its location.The owners made every step of the stay very easy and pleasant. Thank you Hannah!

Beautiful home

My family and I stayed in this lovely home this past weekend. We loved everything about the house. The porches are amazing, we ate diner on the screened in porch and drank our coffee on the front porch each morning. Wonderful Beach Property

This is a wonderful beach property that is very close to water but also is convenient to grocery stores and other shopping. The home is large and spacious which gave us plenty of room to spread out. The property does have several sets of stairs but that is well documented in the property pictures. We loved the property and would absolutely stay here again on our next visit to Atlantic Beach.

Wonderful stay

This house is the perfect vacation place and provides great amenities. The kitchen is well stocked and the house is spacious and clean. The front porch is the perfect place for morning coffee or afternoon drinks. Enjoyed the bikes and beach chairs as well along with the porch swinging bed. Great for naps. Gorgeous house and great location

You can tell that the owners take a lot of pride in their home. It’s beautiful and has lots of personalized decorations. The house feels homey and every room has ample space. The beds are extremely comfortable with a softer king bed and firmer full beds for those who have a preference. The bedding is beautiful and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and the layout of where things are in it makes sense. We had food delivered (door dash) a couple of times and had no issues. The beach access is a couple houses down and even though it’s public beach access, it felt very private with only a few residential neighbors being around when we’d go. The house is a short maybe two or three minute drive to Fort Macon and it’s definitely worth checking out. Definitely head into Beaufort for some quaint, local shopping! The only thing I’d caution is there are some fragrant oil diffusers that smell amazing but may be too strong for someone with fragrance sensitivities or it could possibly be an eczema trigger.

The perfect house for multi-generational family celebration

Our family had a wonderful stay. There was more than enough space for our group of 7 to not be crowded at all. Places for front porch relaxing to game night, puzzle building to quiet time to family meals together made for the ideal setting for a long weekend filled with celebrations.

Amazing Find

Beautifully located and decorated house in Atlantic Beach. Interior was well-decorated and made you feel like you were part of the family! Three different porches and an amazing family room made it easy to relax and unwind. Easy walk to downtown AC, and the beach is so close! Labor Day Beach Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Surf Shack. The house is located on a quiet street just steps away from a beach access. The front porch was great for midday naps on the swing and enjoying the sunset. The kitchen was well appointed with everything you might need for making family meals. The house was very clean and felt like a home as opposed to a third party rental. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
