We love Atlantic Beach and this condo complex. We booked again because we have had good experiences in the past. This particular unit was not great. The beds were terribly uncomfortable with poor quality mattresses. The condo advertises enough room to sleep 6, but we felt that this was a stretch unless you were sleeping mostly kids. There is one queen bed, a twin bed with trundle, and a pull out sofa bed. The dishwasher did not work although it was advertised as an amenity. The pots/pans/dishes did not appear clean and we had to wash before using. There was not any type of cleaning spray for the purposes of wiping countertops, etc. The patio was quite small and without reasonable furniture for sitting outside.

We enjoyed our stay. While its listed to sleep 6, it is a small space so would fit maybe 4 and still be quite cozy. The amenities really made the place. The kids loved the pool, playfround space and the beach access was great too. The room was clean enough, didnt see anything crazy. Overall great stay. Its an affordable room with plenty of benefits for a small group.

A Place at the Beach

Great location! Nice amenities! Close to great restaurants and site seeing. Great for families. So much to do on the property. You wouldn't really have to leave if you didn't want to. Highly recommend.

This condo was in TOTAL DISREPAIR. The dishwasher didn't work (and had a sign saying DO NOT USE on it) , the hair dryer didn't work, the night light in the bathroom didn't work. Knobs were missing from several of the drawers. The handle and latch on the balcony door was about to fall off. The ceiling fans were noisy. The window shade has missing and broken slats. There was no washer and dryer - just the outlets remained. The wall paper was peeling off the wall in several spots and the place was in bad need of paint. And the TV's ..... you couldn't find a smaller size. The bedroom TV was only about 18" wide while the living room TV was probably 24" wide !!!!! Poorly furnished with a mix matched group of uncomfortable furniture. We even found a pill box loaded with prescription drugs that a previous renter must have left. AT 350 a night I feel like VRBO totally ripped us off.

New to the area

Over all the house was okay. Pictures were accurate. It Could have used more touches geared towards the renter, but over all, it was a great fit for us. The location was perfect. Would stay again.

Great place to stay.

Have been in and out of home tending to my 80 year old mother with health issues. The condo was very clean and quiet. A really good place for me to decompress after a trying day. The view of the ocean and the sounds were just what I needed. Great place to stay.

Relaxing week

Awesome rental. Needs a bit of updating but over all nice and relaxing time. Security is a bit much, border line harassing at times.

Dated, but not bad

The room was a bit dated, but for the price I can’t complain. My biggest issues were that the “king size” bed was actually a Queen (Not a huge deal, but I would like to receive what I pay for), and the seating definitely isn’t ideal for a party of more than 3. If they added better furniture (couches and chairs) and added better beds, I would probably book again next year.

Door lock was hard to use. Ceiling fan chain in BR kept falling off. Night light in second bath was dead. Kitchen storage space was borderline. Overall somewhat shabbier and different furniture arrangement than photos. It was a pain to have to check in and out at two places. Property facilities were good, we were there with friends who have a timeshare at the property. We would not choose to stay in this unit again. First time we've been disappointed with VRBO.

Cockroaches throughout the unit. My grandchildren woke me up because bugs were on them. The mattress on the sofabed is so old..my daughter had to sleep on cushions on the floor. The kitchen is very run down. A full or partial refund should be made.

OLD OUTDATED UNSAFE

Unclean. OLD. Awful furniture. Uncomfortable torn sofa was uneven and cushions torn. Bed was a full ( mattress and box spring)on just a metal frame. Looked and felt like something from the forties. Sat down at foot and they flipped and I ended in the floor. Couldn't use sockets. Smoke alarm went off evertime we cooked. Location and view perfect. NEED TO UPGRADE food eggs on dishes and utensils and on pots and pans. Food in warming drawer Food in drawers of trundle bed (1/2 eaten cookie and crackers) Fishy smell to refrigerator freezer.

Not the best

This room desperately needs to be upgraded. The toilet in the master bathroom was slow to flush. The tub stained. There were stains in the master bedroom ceiling from dirt or whatever gross stuff comes out of the air vent. There was about a 2 inch space between the counter and refrigerator that had so much crap on the floor that looks like it had never been cleaned. The blinds in the living room were cracked or had some missing. One window had no blind at all. The screen on another window was shredded. There was dirt in the sliding door track. The wifi kept asking to reconnect and was extremely slow. I have stayed in other units, and have never had this issue. It was nice to have a table on the deck area. And the drying rack was useful.
