This location is great for an event venue, and the upstairs rooms are clean and comfortable. However, we ran into several issues that significantly impacted our stay. The two basement rooms had a persistent musty odor—even though a dehumidifier was provided, it didn’t alleviate the smell. Unfortunately, our pajamas absorbed the odor after just one night. Additionally, the AC units in all rooms—both upstairs and in the basement—were extremely loud, making it hard to get a good night’s sleep.More concerning, the ceiling on the first floor started leaking water from the second-floor shower the day before checkout. I’ve uploaded photos to document the issue, but since the photos don’t fully capture the water movement, I also recorded a video. Unfortunately, Vrbo doesn’t support video uploads.While the property has great potential, especially for hosting, these maintenance and comfort issues made our stay far less enjoyable than expected.
