There people screaming throwing rocks at the door around 3am. There was no security or cameras. We have to call the police to come and stop the yelling screaming throwing rocks at our door. And there no front desk working at night. The phone number they gave us to call in case of emergency no one pick up. The worst place to stay.

Staff was very friendly. We have been coming to Wild Dunes the last 7 year's for long weekends. It was supposedly upgraded and here is what we found. They removed the carpeting in the suites and replaced with cheap imitation hardwood flooring. Turned the shower on and turned faucet to hot and got cold water, turned faucet to cold and got hot water. Only new noticeable upgrade was they now have a digital keypad to enter the rooms, BUT the keypads are not backlit so you cannot see tge numbers at night to enter the code. The main automatic entry sliding door sounds like it wants to fall of the tracking as it jerks open. The worst part was we were sitting watching TV and a mouse came out from under the dishwasher saw us and went back uner the dishwasher. Overall it is not updated. Same appliances, TVs, DVD Player, 2 burner stove, bathroom is very dated with the toilet seat literally about 14" off the floor. Not impressed at all and am definitely considering finding a new regular place to stay for our long weekends. Wild Dunes was better before it was so called upgraded........

Good location near the boardwalk. Clean. They have a unique door lock system that doesn't have a physical key. It uses a unique pin code but it doesn't automatically lock when you leave the room. You have to press the door lock icon before leaving the room. Very good overall.

For being off season, the room was well prepared and check-in was easily handled contactless. Location is great being 1/2 block off boardwalk. King bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean but outdated with a strangely low toilet. Would recommend and stay there again.

Had 3 rooms, 2 very clean 1 could have been better. Layout excellent convenient location. Across street from amusements but wasn’t a major problem. Parking easy under building. Building very secure. Main office and pool across street not an issue. Has pot and pan for stove top no oven only microwave few utensils; coffee pot and toaster; didn’t see dishes. TVs in outer room and bedroom very small. Decent channels has dvd player. Bathroom nice tub/shower. Prob needs new mattresses in bedroom of all 3 rooms we had. Was off-season but I would stay again.

The suite at the Wild Dunes was clean and comfortable. Also, onsite parking is available. Within the suite a small kitchenette with a 2 burner stovetop, microwave and refrigerator. Wild Dunes is at the foot of the ramp to the OC boardwalk and beach.

We enjoyed our weekend stay at the Wild Dunes Inn. The room was a bit more outdated than I thought, but still clean. Shower pressure and temp was perfect and the staff was friendly as well as efficient in getting extra supplies when needed. The kitchen had some things for cooking but not any silverware or paper towels, and we ran out of tissues very quickly. Other than that, it was a super close walk to the boardwalk and some of our favorite food places (3 Brothers Pizza and Kohrs!)

We rented 3 rooms. The staff was very accommodating when I asked for adjoining rooms. They also were very quick to respond to our request for additional pillows and towels. We had 4 people in 1 room, 3 in another and 2 in another. The rooms were big enough for us to be together, cozily, for meals and just hanging out. The kitchen had all we needed for our stay, and everything was newer and in good shape. The rooms were very clean, furniture looked newer and was in great shape. Same for the bathroom. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Three adults-sized kids slept on the pull-out couches, and I heard no complaints about them being uncomfortable. They were very comfortable to sit on as well. It was so great to be so close to the boardwalk and beach. I will definitely stay here again.

In general, the facilities were acceptable. However, for a first-timer I was confused to find the doors locked and no staff at the building. After reading the posted signs, I learned the office was two blocks away. Surprise! Emergency exits at opposite ends of the building were not clearly marked. We expected housekeeping every 2nd day of our stay. During our 4-day stay, housekeeping never showed. I will not return.

Overall, we really liked our stay. We were even closer to the boardwalk than I realized, which was great! The rollercoasters were right across from us but they were off before we went to bed and our bedroom was in the back so we really didn’t hear it back there anyway. Definitely not a future deterrent. It could’ve been a little cleaner. There were ants out in the living room. When I went to call the front desk about it, the phone didn’t work. I called from my cell and they brought ant baits up but the problem persisted into the next day. There was also a lot of hair around the tub in the bathroom. Idk if there was supposed to be but there was no coffee for the morning despite there being a pot and filters. Despite the cleanliness hiccups, though, as a mom, the location was great and the room was nice otherwise and would stay again.
