We truly enjoyed our stay out in Redridge! I am from the Keweenaw and this was my first time staying on Lake Superior. The house was perfect for our group (and our dog). It was great to be able to walk out to the stamp sand beach to enjoy the water. One recommendation- please post a photo of the inside of the master bathroom shower. I have some mobility issues requiring me to sit while showering. We selected this home due to the walk-in shower. If we had known it had a built in seat we would not have needed to bring a shower chair! Having the hand held shower fixture was also extremely helpful! This was a great home and had everything we needed!

Just 2 nights was way too short of a stay. Loved the view, the seclusion and amenities. Gorgeous sunsets! Black sand beach (ice cold water) Good internet in the home thanks to their starlink. No phone reception until 5 miles towards Houghton (just so you know). I'd definitely stay here again.

Went to Lake Superior for it's colorful beach rocks. Had a great time, came home with lots of decorative rocks. The house we stayed in was wonderful. Love the floor heat. The host was wonderful, very accommodating.

This is our 2nd winter booking a long weekend at the Superior Retreat and it did not disappoint. The house truly feels like a home away from home and is the perfect spot to enjoy family time with our MTU Husky. We hope to be back next year!

This cottage had breath taking views of Lake Superior and blew our expectations away. The high ceiling and tons of living space was perfect for our families stays. The most disappointing part of our stay was that it wasn’t longer! This cottage is an excellent choice to stay at.

The house is absolutely immaculate and the location is amazing! Just a short 15 minute drive from Houghton, the house is away from town but close enough to take a short ride in for some entertainment. We brought our two dogs along with us and we all enjoyed walking/running on the beach and splashing in the water. The beach is beautiful and very swim friendly. The house has all the amenities and lots of space! We enjoyed the house and the beach and definitely plan on coming back!

This is a fantastic VRBO property. The access and views of the beach and Lake Superior is stunning and relaxing. We spent 3 days with family and enjoyed making dinners, sitting on the patio with the chiminea and taking walks on the beach. Great hosts and fantastic amenities. Everything in the description is accurate. Will be back!!

Property was beautiful. Nice location to see the Keewenaw as well as Lake of the clouds area. Stamp Sand beach… that’s a new thing for us. Would have been nice to have some history of that but it was easy to research. Thanks for having coffee pods there. Saved us a trip to town. Beautiful sunset.

It is a beautiful property and the views are amazing. A few dust bunnies under the table and bed but everything else was very clean. I would totally stay here again.

This house was perfect for our family (6 adults - my wife and I and our 2 children and their spouses). It is remote enough for quiet and relaxation, yet close enough to Houghton and many great attractions in the Keweenaw The views of Lake Superior are stunning, especially at sunset. Spacious, well-furnished, comfortable, and delightful are suitable adjectives to describe the Superior Retreat.

Great view at this property. Only 15 minutes away from Michigan Tech. Smooth booking process and information from the property manager made this trip easy.
