    Welcome to our spacious two-bedroom apartment by Zodiak Stays in a super central location! Well-equipped for long or short stays with a full-functioning kitchen, washer, dryer, super fast WiFi, and a Smart TV. Enjoy the office area with a monitor, perfect for business trips or remote work!



    Important - make sure to read through the Other Things to Note section below. We have a lot of useful information there that is essential to know for your stay.



    The Space:

    Our two bedroom apartment is perfectly situated for both business or pleasures travellers and is equipped with all the necessities you may need! This apartment will be a great choice for your stay with a full kitchen, Smart TV, and super comfy beds.



    Here at Zodiak Stays, we provide our guests with free unlimited WIFI, towels and bed linen, as well as a welcome pack of starter amenities, and we use a high quality cleaning company so the apartment will be perfect for your arrival.     We have all the amenities and facilities you will need to make your stay in Auckland as comfortable as possible:

    This stylish apartment offers versatile sleeping arrangements to suit every guest. One bedroom features a comfortable queen bed, while the second bedroom is furnished with two cozy single beds — an ideal setup for families traveling with children or a group of friends. Each bed is thoughtfully prepared with plush pillows, soft mattresses, and crisp, freshly laundered linens to ensure a restful night’s sleep for everyone



    The main room of the apartment has a fully functional kitchen with oven, microwave, and dish washer. The living area has a sofa, a smart TV, and a dining table with four chairs. There is also a balcony with city views - great for a cup of coffee in the morning!



    There is a washing machine and dryer tucked away in a cupboard.



    Please note that a refundable security deposit (authorised and held by your card provider, not charged to us) is required as part of the booking process.

    The Neighborhood:

    Everything you need is within walking distance from the apartment! Here are some suggestions for things to see and do on your visit to Auckland:



    The Viaduct - the best bars and restaurants in the city! The New Zealand Maritime Museum is here, as well as Silo Park where you can watch outdoor films for free in the evening. You can also catch ferries from here to the amazing islands in the Hauraki Gulf like Waiheke, Tiritiri Matangi, and Rangitoto, as well as go on a whale and dolphin safari.



    Federal Street - next to the Sky Tower (you can't miss it!) There are a lot of really nice bars and restaurants and cafes in this street, as well as the Sky City Casino and of course the Sky Tower. Dine at the top of tower at restaurant with the best views in Auckland, and jump off the Sky Walk to get down



    Aotea Square - Auckland's cultural centre. Surrounding the square you'll find the Town Hall, Aotea Centre, Event cinemas, and two theatres (The Civic and the Q). The square itself is a nice place to people watch and sip some coffee. An ice-rink is the main attraction here during winter.



    Albert Park, Art Gallery and the Museum - Albert Park is a lovely place where you can chill and read, and the Auckland art gallery is next door on Wellesley Street. If you keep walking up Wellesley Street, past Auckland University, and across Grafton Road, you will eventually find Auckland Domain which is the biggest park in Auckland and has the Auckland War Memorial Museum, as well as an amazing botanical garden.



    Karangahape Road (a.k.a 'K' Road) - If you head up the hill on Queen Street, you'll eventually reach K Road, where you'll find Auckland's alternative night scene. Many great bars, live music, shisha cafes, and cheap takeaways are what K Road is known for.



    Ponsonby – If you head West of the CBD, you will find the Ponsonby area. There is old colonial-style architecture there, many great stores for shopping, restaurants, bars, and cafes. Some of the best restaurants in Auckland are here, especially great for fine dining as this is an up-market area of Auckland.



    Apart from these mini adventures, Queen Street (main street the city) is filled with shops, bars, cafes, restaurants, live music venues, and more! Make sure you explore High Street as well, which lies just parallel to Queen Street. That whole area is very nice to walk, relax, or dine out in, and tends to be a bit cheaper than Queen Street if you want to do some shopping.



    If you want to explore further Auckland then you can take a walk towards the Viaduct from the apartment. There you will find Britomart station. (Bus and train)



    Getting Around:

    There is the SkyBus to and from the Airport, or via taxi. For trains, busses, and ferries: Britomart bus and train station/Wynyard Wharf Ferry Terminal and Downtown Pier 4. You can also use the Lime Scooters to get around the city, as well as Uber (or Zoomy – NZ’s version of Uber).



    Other Things to Note:

    Monthly Stays: We have a 20% discount factored into the price if you book for 28 nights or more.



    KEY PICKUP

    Key Pick-Up: The key pickup location is from a convenience store located at 7 Union St, Auckland CBD, 1010. This is a different location from the apartment building. This is a 7 minute walk or 5 minute drive from the apartment. They are open for collection at any time between until 10PM. Please double-check if this suits you and ask us if you have any questions or concerns before booking. We will send you the full check-in instructions on the morning of your arrival date.



    Parking: We have one free parking spot available with this property. Please note, it is located in the building next door.



    Personal Check-ins: We can arrange for someone to meet you at the apartment for a $85 fee. Please inquire before booking to check availability - we will need at least two days notice to guarantee someone can meet you.



    Check-in Time: Check-in time is after 3pm til 2am. If you need to check-in earlier, then please double-check with us first so we can confirm availability.



    Housekeeping: We can arrange extra weekly housekeeping during your stay if requested for the same price as the cleaning fee listed per clean. Stays longer than 21 days will be required to have a mid-stay clean at your expense. Please just send us a message if you need extra cleaning as we will need to organise this with the cleaning company we use.



    Amenities: We provide a starter pack of amenities to last you the first few days of your stay (4x shampoo, 4x bodywash, 6x tea/coffee, 3x toilet paper rolls, 1 pack of laundry powder, 1 pack of dishwashing powder, dishwashing liquid, cleaning spray and wipes) but you will need to purchase your own amenities after these run out.



    Linens: We provide a full set of linens for each bed and a face cloth and shower towel per guest. Extra linens can be provided for a fee. Please inquire before your stay.



    Checkout Time: Checkout time is at 10am.



    This is a professionally managed apartment by Zodiak Stays so you can expect the very best in service, but please note it is not a serviced apartment. As above, weekly housekeeping can still be arranged as an extra service.

Great...but...

First thing to note is that this apartment building is just down the street from a homeless food mission. There are half a dozen or more hanging around the street and there is a noticeable smell of bodily fluids up and down the block, especially in corners by doors. Obviously not something you can expect a rental owner to do about it, but it should be noted. Place is just ok. Basic everything. Cheap pans. Cheap table. Cheap beds. Great TV and sliding glass door to porch.

Had to pick up key at different location which was confusing. When got to place there was no air conditioning and no fans and it was hot. While it didn’t list aircon it was assumed it would have aircon or at least fans. The booking agent did arrange a fan for us after we asked for it. While no gym listed I was led to believe there was a gym on site but there wasn’t. It was also very noisy outside which made it difficult to sleep as had to keep windows open for breeze. Also curtain rail in second bedroom was falling down, I reported but not fixed. Would not stay here again.
