Explora arbustos y playas en Titirangi

Somos una pareja profesional, Sandra y Michael, que trabajamos desde casa, de origen alemán, pero que vivimos en Nueva Zelanda durante más de 15 años. Nuestra casa se encuentra a unos 5 minutos en coche de las tiendas Titirangi y a 3 minutos a pie de la siguiente parada de autobús que conecta con Transportcenter New Lynn y más allá en Auckland CBD.
La casa se encuentra en una soleada sección de arbustos de Waitakere en la cima de una colina con muchas oportunidades para practicar senderismo y caminar, muchas caminatas comienzan en nuestra puerta, también cerca de todas las playas de la costa oeste para practicar surf, como Piha.
Vivimos en la casa principal. Para los huéspedes ofrecemos:
2 habitaciones dobles en piso independiente, baño privado, ducha sobre la bañera, cocina para preparar el desayuno y comidas ligeras. Terraza privada soleada y estacionamiento en la calle para un automóvil frente al piso. Acceso inalámbrico a Internet y aire acondicionado para los calurosos días de verano.
Nos gustaría recibir visitantes que deseen una casa de familia para explorar las playas de la costa oeste y el parque regional de Waitakere o que busquen un lugar tranquilo fuera de la ciudad. Estamos encantados de ayudar a organizar y planificar viajes por el país, podemos organizar el transporte y el alojamiento para otros destinos.

Excellent bush retreat

Positioned just outside the village of Titirangi which offers everything you need shops, cafes, restaurants and lovely gallery. Easy access to many walking tracks and beaches. We had a great stay, sitting on the balcony looking out at the extensive views across the harbour.Our hosts were lovely, friendly and accommodating, very hospitable.

Titirangi Experience

Warm welcome to an excellent well equipt and designed apartment. An ideal location for accessing the famous Waitakere Ranges and the West Coast Beaches. The view from the deck was outstanding with birds a plenty. All our needs were met and our hosts Sandra and Michael were available if and when needed, we will definately be returning in the future.

Wonderful Accomodations!

The pictures don’t do this place justice. The views are amazing and the home was more than enough space for my adult daughter & myself. Sandra was a wonderful host who always answered my phone calls and came down to help immediately when needed. Her husband was also kind and helpful with suggestions on things to do and places to go. I will caution anyone who is not used to it like myself…..there is quite a bit of mountain driving but they have nothing to do with that, I just didn’t expect it. I loved their home and the way that they hosted us.

Very Nice Hosts. Have Everything We need. Spacious and All the Little Touch.

Michael and Sandra are wonderful hosts. This is the second time we stayed there. Both time exceeded our expectation. We do need a car but the location is brilliant as it is away from the business of city, the view of sunrise and sunset, there are restaurants and eateries within driving distance of 5 minutes, there are walking tracks nearby, all the little touches just make our stay a memorable one.

We stayed 3 weeks in this amazing establishment. A beautiful property, with a gorgeous view of the Manukau Harbour off the lovely porch / verandah. Inside is modern, clean, with so much space. Chique-ly decorated with nice furnishings and art. We felt so at home there. The owners are lovely people, friendly and easy to communicate with. "Lopdell House" is a stylish friendly and very spacious cafe with great coffee and food. Also there is a great Indian restaurant in Titirangi called the, "Titirangi Indian Kitchen" where the food was notably delicious and the staff are a kind and personable team. I have never had such a good Korma in my life. This accomodation is 5 star.

Beautiful views, abundant bird life and great location.

Titirangi cottage is well equipped with everything that is needed for a great stay. It was lovely to see the Californian Quail, Wood pigeons and Fantails. Eventhough the owners were overseas we really appreciated the communication and thoughtfulness making sure we were comfortable in their cottage. Thankyou for a memorable stay. All the best.

Windy road up the mountain but only 30 minutes from Aukland. Serene mountain top location without neighboring houses and close (100 m) to hiking tracts. Often great sunrises.

Fantastic spot and great hosts!

Great place to stay and Sandra and Michael are wonderful hosts. My partner and I stayed here for two weeks and the place is well equipped, clean, comfortable and very peaceful with a beautiful view. A perfect little spot, private deck to enjoy the sun and the scenery. Would highly recommend. As an added bonus there are some walking trails at the end of the drive and it’s a nice stroll into Titirangi. We look forward to staying here again!

We loved this property, the location was great for exploring the Auckland region as well as the Waitakere ranges. The hosts were fantastic, they were very friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home. The property had everything we needed and was very clean and tidy. We will definitely be back!

Titirangi hideaway

Our second time staying at this property. Sandra went out of her way to be helpful, accommodation was spotless and had everything we needed for our two night stay. Road to house and driveway a but dicey after the recent floods, but sure this will get fixed soon. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic location and great hosts

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is unbeatable if you enjoy the outdoors as you are on the footstep of the Waitakere ranges with a great walk/hike on your doorstep. View from the balcony is incredible! Apartment has everything you need and is comfortable.

We really enjoyed our weekend here. Great place to stay if you want a quiet weekend away. We had plans on a venture of the Waitakere Ranges but given the weather we decided to stay in and watch Te Matatini which was great. The bed was not the best given our mature age and there was a strong odour going through the flat that we needed to the dehumidifier everyday for.

We were staying here to go to the Elton John concert. We had very heavy rain and the hosts were extra accommodating by lending us a couple of extra rain iackets and an umbrella. They're awesome people and would recommend this place anytime. And the views are to die for. ❤️
