The space is very inviting as were the hosts. They left a lively bottle of local wine. The cottage was Spaceous and we loved the guest house for the kids. Bringing our dog was a huge bonus as well. We loved the hosts. They were very kind and accommodating. We were traveling far and were arriving early and this was welcomed. I woke for every sunrise and watched each sunset, even in the off season it was peacefull and stunning. The property had many perks, hot tub, grill, fire pit and more. There is a place to order spirits, food and grocery for delivery as well. Now for our short list of downfalls. 1) The very slow and long drive down the private road to arrive to the cottage. 2)The property said pet friendly, we did not know that meant we paid an additional fee. We just thought there would be a small refundable deposit if anything. 3)The cleaning fee. We went to sign the book with a kind fairwell and decided to peek at the checkout section. While we didnt plan to leave a mess, we didnt plan to have to do so much clean up either. Typically you either do the clean up yourself with no cleaning fee or pay the fee and dont worry about anything except stripping beds and dirty dishes near sink or loaded in the dishwasher. Between the cleaning and pet fee it was an extra 350 atleast for our trip. Dont let this steer you away from staying at this lovely space!! Just ask all the questions before and be clear.
