We selected this property to accommodate a large group for our daughter’s wedding reception in Driftwood. It was an expensive property but the pictures looked nice and the number of guests held met our needs. It was not what we had expected and had many issues such as, cracked and loose tiles on the stairs that posed a safety hazard for our elderly guests, no heat the first night, cold showers the entire 3 night stay, trash under and in the couches, no sheets for the sleeper sofas, no top sheets on any beds, and no blankets. The weather was cooler so we needed to use the heaters. The main heater set off an alarm at 1:30 am along with a burning smell. After 15 minutes we discovered how to turn the alarm off and had to turn the heater off completely. The two mini split units couldn’t be used because they were full of dirt and dust. We had called the property manager shortly after checking in with our issues and concerns. She came out the following day around 11am. This pushed back plans we had for the morning. She had an hvac company out to clean and service the units and a plumber out for the hot water. We were told there is an issue with the design that was causing the problem. We all took cold showers and we would only use 1 of the 3 showers at a time. I’m grateful the manager came and brought some blankets and picked up trash around the property. It was disappointing they didn’t offer any refund after several requests. Paid a lot and didn’t come close to our expectations.
