Great Location!

Adam (host) was very helpful from the get go! Prior to making our reservation I reached out to Adam to inquire about having a small get together for our UT grad prior to the campus wide commencement. Adam was quick to respond and assured us this would not be a problem. We booked our trip and everything went as planned. The location is perfect to the center of Austin and it made our trip easy peasy.

Good for our needs

Our boys were in the UT Baseball camp and we wanted a house close to the stadium/camp. This house is within walking distance so we booked it for the weeklong camp. Adam is a great host and was responsive when I reached out prior to the trip to ask a question. The house is very cute and East Austin is definitely transitioning. We walked to camp drop off and pickup, to a Pilates studio, coffee shop, and lunch. Neighbors were nice and quiet, but lots of random cars parked on the street all day and night, which made our parking situation a little tricky. I would say inside the house there are a few things that jumped out at me. There is no cable, and in the instructions it says ‘who needs cable when you’re in Austin?!” I guess I do? My husband and I WFH during the days when the boys were at camps and I like to have the news on (Today Show, local, etc) when I WFH. It is also the Olympics and we weren’t able to watch any! The TV was very confusing to work and the remotes didn’t work well which made it more difficult to navigate. My 8 yo summed it up best, he said “this is a cool house but there’s some weird stuff inside’. The walls need a paint refresh, the linens and towels are all mismatched, it’s a total hodgepodge and my husband was annoyed there were no washcloths. The kitchen gear is a hodgepodge too, it never felt like I had the right tool for the job. Lastly there is a severe mold issue on the ceiling of the jack n kill bathroom and the host has been informed

Perfect for our girls trip!

We stayed for a few nights for a girls trip when my friends came to Austin to visit. The location for this place is absolutely perfect! So close to everything. Honestly, the house is better in person than in the photos! It was SO SO SPACIOUS! There were books and games available as well. Plenty of the typical supplies you need like paper towels and toilet paper and extra towels and blankets for a comfortable stay. The house gets fantastic light and it's a pleasure to be in it. It's a newer build than the rest of the neighborhood which adds to the comfort. Adam was quick to reply to my questions, but I didn't have many honestly - we didn't really need anything as the place was well set up and stocked for us! If I have a group coming to Austin again I would book this place again if available - it was great!

STATE SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT

Love the location of this house. It’s only a few blocks away from Rad & Charlene McCombs Softball Stadium. It’s in a quiet neighborhood.

Cute place, easy to get to other places in Austin

I stayed here for a bachelorette party and it worked well for us. The space was cute and the big room on the main floor was nice to all hang out together. The listing says 4 bedrooms - there are only 3 which is described in more detail in the caption but would be nice to know more clearly that one of the bedrooms is the pull-out couch. We did have an issue with the cleanliness of the oven. We turned it on and the bottom actually caught fire due to something left on the bottom, and had to use the fire extinguisher to put it out. Adam responded to our email that night and sent someone out the next morning to clean it up, which I appreciated. There were a couple breakfast/coffee places within walking distance. Overall, I felt like this worked well for our stay in Austin and met our needs.

perfect day and perfect stay

A great day of golf then dropped off our bags at Adam's place. Walked to Disch Faulk to watch the horns baseball and then walked to Moody for Horns basketball. It was exactly what we needed to rest our heads. Thanks a ton.

Fantastic place / location

Loved the property and the location! Very close to UT and the event centers. Driveway is plenty big to fit any size car / SUV (some other reviews said it was tight - not true). A+++ and will stay here again for sure.

Great House

We were in Austin for the state track meet. Adam was very helpful when I asked questions about location, etc. The house was within walking distance to the stadium. That was a great attribute since we didn’t have to fight traffic or pay for parking. The house is also within a couple of miles to great restaurants. We ate at The Salty Sow(dinner) and Juan in a Million(twice for breakfast) and both were wonderful. We had 10 people staying at the house and had plenty of room. The house met all of our expectations. It was beautiful. Beds were comfortable, and everything worked as it should. We enjoyed the outside patio and my son LOVED the stairs. I can’t say enough about how helpful and kind Adam was before and during our stay. He answered questions quickly and was happy to help. We hope to return in the near future.

Offsite Meeting

The space met the needs of our business group's offsite meeting, while also proving accommodations for one of our out of town guests. Adam was great to communicate with and very attentive to anything we needed (we didn't need anything additional, but appreciated his open and attentive communication!) Great place to stay!

Wonderful house!

We loved our stay at this home in east Austin over thanksgiving! There were 9 of us and there were enough comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms for us. Super modern decor/structure, and nice tv, games, and books. Loved the espresso machine! Only couple things are that the fold out mattress in zipped case would not inflate well, and kitchen could have had more large ladles. But wonderful overall.. definitely recommend for families, and kid friendly!
