Todo muy bien en general pero habia uno que otro trabajador que no era muy amable y la chica que me recibió en recepción estaba enferma de gripe y se limpiaba los mocos con la mano o se los subia por la nariz y no era muy agradable

Habitación no lista
No tuvieron lista la habitación a tiempo, llegamos poco antes de las 6 de la tarde y nos dieron la habitación hora y media después y dijeron que las bonificaciones por retraso solo se las daban a personas que habían reservado directamente. La recepcionista Cynthia tuvo muy mala actitud. Fuera de eso nuestra estancia estuvo bien aunque la cama y almohadas no nos gustaron mucho.

Set back next to a Home Depot the property is clean, the rooms large and staff nice. Restaurants close early (9pm) so late night nothing to do. Not walkable but not a bad place.

We planned to stay in Residence Inn by Mariott Austin – University Area from September 1 to 4, 2023. After only one-night stay and at the morning of Sept. 2, we found that the bed was full of ants, a terrible experience that shocked us. We immediately quitted the hotel. The terrible hygiene of the hotel made our labor-day weekend completely unpleasant and horrified.

We had a great stay. The best/weirdest/favorite part? The elevator was always open and ready for me to head up to my room. Staff was friendly and the area was ideal.

It was comfortable. Nice breakfast, but a waffle iron would have made it better. Staff was friendly. The slope on the south entrance is pretty steep in places.

We are going back.
If you’re going with your family, particularly if you have a dog, this is a great place to stay. There are good walking paths nearby Starbucks, restaurants etc. Very convenient and a decent enough gym. Wish it had a little bit more but we will definitely be staying there again.

Protect your belongings.
The room was spacious, well equipped and comfortable, but had a few minor maintenance issues. Lights weren't working and the toilet ran. Although the hotel seemed to be in a nice area, several cars in the hotel parking lot were broken into and items were stolen. My car window was broken despite being parked right in front of the hotel and under a lamppost. The hotel staff were sympathetic and had alerted the Austin police, but were otherwise unconcerned. I did not notice any security cameras in the parking lot. Don't leave any bags or belongings in your car!

Decent area with lots of shopping and dining nearby. Hotel room was very quiet. It was clean but had a few noticeable areas of wear and tear. Overall it was a fine place to stay.

It was a good hotel with nice big rooms at a reasonable price, but the AC was very loud and made it hard to sleep the first night. Hopefully this is just a luck of the draw problem, but if you are sensitive to that sort of thing, you might consider booking elsewhere.

Friendly and Exceeded Expectations
