We loved this house! It was such a lovely, comfortable place to stay. We had our dog, and the back yard was perfect. The yard was well-maintained and fenced, plus the porch was so cute and lighting gave a great ambiance. We didn’t get to use the gas fire table feature, so we’ll have to come back. Kitchen was stocked with all the necessities and lots of extras. Living room was cozy to watch movies with lots of pillows and blankets. Blackout curtains in the bedrooms helped on the days we wanted to sleep in. The family loved all the games, especially ping pong. Unfortunately there was only one working dart, so dart games were out. Ping pong balls were wonky, so we bought some down the street at H-E-B Plus for $3. The ping pong table itself is very nice. Lots of antiques make the house interesting and fun. The instruction book mentioned the 1970’s era oven, which bakes fine, but beware! The entire frame on the outside is crazy hot and I burned myself 3x. It’s a tight space right where the oven is, so it’s a bit dangerous and I’d recommend they ditch the vintage oven for something safer, especially since this is such a great rental for families. There at least needs to be a warning posted next to the oven. Besides the oven, we thought the house was one of the better rentals we’ve stayed in and we’ll definitely stay here again. Thank you!
