This home was in a good location and the house was clean and nice for our overnight stay and needs. We had some issues with the front door code lock and the host was responsive to that and our other questions. It is a steep uphill climb to the house with bags if you park in the street, but the driveway does go up beside the house.

We had a really great stay here! The house was super cool and exactly what we were hoping for. The location was perfect. It was close to everything we needed but still in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Communication with the host was easy and smooth the whole time. Overall, we loved it and would definitely stay here again! Oh, and the bed was super comfy!

The check in process started out the stay very disappointing. Address to property was incorrect, followed by an electronic entry that didn’t work. The host and owner didn’t answer the phone for quite some time. Finally got a hold of one of the owners while chatting with VRBO. Had to use alternative key to get in after almost an hour. Once in the owner said a plumber needed to come by to fix a handle at 6:00pm. Very inconvenient around our quick one night stay. Location was semi close to South Congress but more than likely not the parts most would want to be on. Would hesitate to recommend based on our experience.

House was very roomy and nicely decorated. Location was great with easy access to activities, restaurants, clubs and shopping on south congress. Kitchen is not really stocked for cooking and eating in but otherwise the house has most of what is needed. Easy check in and out.

The property was decorated nicely and the kitchen was well-stocked. There were only a few cons: We found dirty towels hanging in one of the bathrooms. There was not enough comfortable seating for 6 adults in the living room area and one of the bedrooms was an uncomfortable cot style bed.The kitchen was well-stocked. The neighborhood was just okay with about a 10 -15 minute uber ride to where restaurants and bars are. It was not walkable like I had hoped.

I’m a former longhorn and was excited to bring my family to a UT game to see my old stomping grounds. Unfortunately, the house was not as expected. I promised my kids they would have their own bed and when we got there I realized the so called sofa bed was not a sofa bed at all, but just a deep couch with no extra blanket to be found. My kids were pissed. The microwave also was broke although the owner had someone come to try to fix it which is how we found out it was just broken. There were no ceiling fans and omg I was sweating all weekend. They had a coffee machine with hardly any coffee and zero sugar or creamer. I don’t understand the point of a coffee machine if we’re expected to travel with the coffee. Great location, but that’s about it. We wouldn’t stay here again.

We had a great stay at the South Congress house! The location is perfect for hitting a lot of the fun Austin restaurants but the neighborhood was still quiet. We were in walking distance of a couple of bars, coffee and food. The beds were comfy and pillows were cozy!

Perfect location

The house was in a great little neighborhood where some houses had been redone, some brand new builds and others that needed a reno. Felt very safe and accessible to everything. Food, I35, peace and quiet.

The house is so charming and comfortable! accommodating our party of 5 with ease. the location is great, with everything we wanted to do in the area being accessible within a 5-10 minute ride. The hosts had great communication as well and made the process very smooth. Also, did I mention how cute the house is? Loved the aesthetic, I highly recommend !
